Went to Aunt Mel's house for lunch with her family. She had a most interesting room which overlooked the living room!
We had a lot of sleeping shots of Mei Mei..life was tranquil without this live wire
Jun went over to You You's house to stay overnight. Our Jun had grown up!
Out with the cousins
Celebrating CNY together
Went to see the lights at Pang Sua Pond
A dazzling sight
Went to Hafary to choose tiles...mind-boggling and overwhelmed by the sheer variety of choices
Having fun at Happy Castle at Habourfront. A nice and quiet playground
Taking photos at the supermarket for Jun's book. Bumped into Aunt Mel and Uncle Zack at Aperia Mall as we were having lunch at the same eatery. How coincidental!
Clothes Jun chose for one of the illustrations
His favourite tee - too small...so we had given it to Aunt Tin but he wanted it to be featured in the book
Mei Mei was a very reckless and daring girl. She was always up to no good. She would run amok when she was allowed to get off the pram.
The heartwarming sight that greeted me after a long night of doing work...ha. they loved to snuggle up with one another
The naughty little one...relaxing and gazing out of the window
Had lunch at Aunt Choon Chi's restaurant and it was too early to head to soccer training so we explored the place...wow..impressive street art
A very lovely place...the food was so yummy
birthday cake we got for ah ma. it was an utterly delicious jelly cake - not too sweet, chewy agar agar, loved by the adults though Tong did not quite fancy it coz of the coconut base
Ha mama trying to look young
Playing with bubbles at the courtyard
Jie's friends came over to play. The girls kept to themselves in the playroom
While the boys played computer games outside..eh...natural gender segregation at such a young age? A day when I had 9 kids in the house at one go
Spotted some chickens...and Tong, being the animal lover that he was, could not resist having a photo taken with the chicks
Sent a present to India for papa's friend
Ah...the messy eater...sometimes she would lie on the floor...she really behaved like a pet in the house...
When she refused to listen to instructions, she would often get scolded and the older ones would come to her rescue...sigh
An entry that Jie wrote when she was in P2. Found this while spring cleaning for the move to Marzuki so that the house could be renovated in June. Godma thought Xun was really special:
She is really very special and extraordinary Ger...the analysis is so innocent and endearing...kids really are fresh from heaven, before life and cynicism sets in. WY is really so so blessed..to deduce the presence of wisdom from the authority / ability to scod is quite something for that age leh..Xunxun is so so special
Ha...Godma always gushed over Xun and thought so well of her..I just thought that her reasoning was hilarious!
Family photos for the book!
