Well, almost heading into the last quarter of the year

On a nice balmy day, we went to the library and redeemed the book bug cards. We were very certain that we would get the special edition August card (produced just for National Day) for Gorgor, and we did! We said that Mei mei was Gor's lucky charm.

Talking about lucky charms, Mama had been winning at mahjong. Never been a really good player, Mama had somehow learnt to go with the ebb and flow of the game and cultivated a positive mindset about it...and tada, I had been winning! Beautiful beautiful hand...

Another set of beautiful tiles.

Oh we used our miles to exchange for this exquisite MJ set from Singapore Airlines. Aeronautical themed tiles. Loved it. Promised Xiaoyi that we would get her a set as a housewarming gift.

Our little Jun got the star student badge. A cute little pin...alas, he lost it soon after...

I went to my company's D&D dressed as Princess Peach on Jie's suggestion. I was hoping to win something and I DID! Consolation prize of $100 of United Square vouchers. Hmmmm got to utilise them before they expire.

Games: Posing

Long Service Award. 10 years...what a long time...

with the other long-suffering colleagues

With the EY and LP colleagues

Gor went on a discovery excursion with his best buddies.

Jun celebration ND at school

Twinning with my baby mei mei

I thought she was growing up toooo fast. Where did all the cute baby fat go to?

I loved this set of floral dresses...So romantic and whimsical...

The biker chick at the arcade

who also liked to hide under her gor's sharky as she slept

We thought she had lost Mimi. We thought it would be at Ah Ma's house so we asked Ah Ma to look for it but to no avail. I went to ask the MCST manager if someone had picked it up on the premises, nothing...And Papa went to Ah Ma's house to pick up his car and went to the bedroom to check. Mimi was lying on the bed! Turned out that Ah Ma thought it was a pig. LOL

We love Singapore and are proud to call it our homeland.

School ended early due to some celebration, and we went to Superpark! Aunt Shuping gave us $100 worth of credits, woooo hoooo!

Checking out the different places...I tagged behind Mei mostly as the big ones could explore the place by themselves...

Well they had lots of fun

Having a tiny snack before Ah Gong's here to pick us and send us home

Ah, Mei's favourite cousin, Yanjie, was here to play

They could spend hours in the pool if I allowed them

Having a race - Eryi + Jun + Yanjie vs Tong Vs Jie + Mei

Jie went to watch the rehearsal with Ah Ma

Twinning alert

Jie and I attended a nagomi art class on ZOOM in the morning...really easy and fun to create these cards with soft pastel crayons

National Day celebration at our home.

We had fun playing "Spot Papa" as we watched the National Day Parade as he was the ADC to the president. We saw glimpses of him in the president's car, then as the president inspected the troops...for most of the time we saw part of his arm only, then a little of the shoulder...everyone was really excited when the camera captured the entire face and we cheered...it was a memorable night

The little lass was three. How did she grow up so quickly?

Sassy and lanky...a force to reckon with

I missed that squishy round body though...

Taking papa's mug shot for her application form to enroll in N2...but changed my mind as I enrolled her in Berries instead and decided to let her start preschool education only in K1. She loved Berries SO MUCH. She would flip through the book and recite the words. She went through the online activities religiously. Her pronunciation was so precise and crisp.

her mug shot haha

Happy birthday Papa

Bought him special MJ pillows

Our sleepy head who would curl up in funny corners and sleep in weird poses...

Saw this wall feature as we were waiting...by that famous Japanese artist Yayoi. Uncle Zack would not appreciate her art as he had a morbid fear of patterns of dots. Trypophobia. Really!

Twinning wear alert. Should I start a twinning wear post?

Pretending to sleep on the train...went to speech therapy and on the way home

Good news. Gege had made such progress so Ms Natalie discharged him!

Once PSLE was over, we could have fun exploring places with Jie again. She had been working so hard.

Wai po was often on the kids' minds. Tong saw the pink clouds above the buildings and told me to take a photo so that he could show Wai po what a pretty sight it was.

Oh memories...Little Tong when he was a tiny tyke

I got COVID. oh my... first time sleeping on the bed by myself as I isolated myself in papa's room. The first night (Friday) was awful. The kids cried quite a bit, especially Tong. Tong went on to cry every night, even on the fourth night, goodness. He would start weeping in the day whenever he thought of bedtime and would be inconsolable at bedtime. Aunt A said boys are more vulnerable than they appear.

Recovering...I tested positive on Fri night but went to see the doctor on Sat morning. So they started counting from Saturday. By Friday 12 noon, it would be legal for me to exit isolation even if i was still positive. It was Wednesday as I typed this. Hopefully, I would be well and could hug Jie before she went to school tomorrow.

The littlest one liked to sleep everywhere...

Finally made the Lu Family Birthday Calendar

The cousins having breakfast at Ah Ma's house

Celebrating my birthday with my sisters! Oh I actually tested positive right after my birthday. Some birthday gift that was!

Mid Autumn Celebration at Telok Kurau Playground
