(Apr 15) Good Friday

So for the whole week, we had a pretty mundane time, playing at home, scootering downstairs, going to plaza to buy food....

There was one day when mama cooked noodles for xun and tong, yes, their fav maggie mee, except I tried to make it as healthy as possible, adding the vegetable powder, red dates, chrysantheum flowers to the soup base, and using half a packet of msg.

Sigh...it was mama's regret that i did not know how to cook healthier food and instill good eating habits in both of you : (

so...xun xun piped how she would wash the bowls (even tong's if he was not willing to do it) and clean the table as I had worked hard taking care of them for the whole day. She truly was an angel.

Good Friday

Went to Sembawang Country Club in the morn and went to wai po's house in the afternoon. Papa went to Plaza for his haircut and home to wash the wet clothes. 

er yi and you you were at waipo's since morning as er yi zhang was on duty. 

Wai gong brought us to the Bukit Batok Nature Park...oh I never knew there was a sand pit playground here. wai po and wai gong went for a stroll while we headed to the sand pit.

er yi said er yi zhang, being a cleanliness freak, would not have allowed you you to play in the sand..haa

the kids threw and splashed sand all over, so tong had sand in his hair, on his body...

you you actually shoved some sand into his mouth, opps!

tong was drenched in sweat...took his top off to dust off the sand...ha, he was very anxious when he saw wai po come back, he urgently asked me to put his shirt back...I thought he was afraid wai po would scold him. ha

xun took out her note pad and started drawing the turtle she saw. wai po commented that she was exactly like her, liking to bring a drawing pad around all the time

On Sun, we went back to Dr Khoo and the kids were finally certified ok to go back to school. So after one week of being confined at home due to the flu virus, it was a welcome relief. xun could not wait to see her friends and tong wanted to show his nemo drawing to his teachers. 

Resurrection Sunday. Thank you Jesus for blessing our family. Thank you that your being raised from the dead is our receipt that we had and are made righteous, and God is always on our side. 

if God is for us, who can be against us? Amen.
