Well, we had planned for this for a long time. You two always enjoyed going to Aunt A's house coz you liked playing with Kay kay.
We had snacks first then played with the masak masak and set up a restaurant. Xun, Tong and Kay were chefs. Eh...tong the crazy chef was messing up the kitchen and jumping on the make-believe table as if it was a trampoline...what a chaotic restaurant.
Then we did sensory play - aunt A prepared yakult bottles, DIY dough which was dyed a dark brown colour as she added coffee powder, sand stolen from some playground and real edible chocolate rocks which expired a few days ago, alas, would have been more fun eating them, but they made really pretty decorations.
Even Avery joined in the fun, she was mainly playing with the sand and the foam which came out from the volcanoes
Aunt A even prepared coloured vinegar water so that the lava were of different colours!
and yes, the younger ones could not resist getting all mucky
a cheery picture, ha
and the boy joined the girls
aunt a brought out coloured pastas, and the girls were sifting the sand to separate them from the pasta
finally washing up...really messy indeed. Ha, mama made a boo boo, went to discard the rubbish and stepped on the lever so hard that the chute was stuck and could not be closed. fortunately, kay's daddy saved the day and used brute force to close it again. PHEW.
Went to the playground, the girls pretended this was a tight rope
tong had fun running away from Avery
and hid in the tunnel, he looked really snug and comfy inside
xun managed to climb the monkey bar! I must say, xun was as agile as mama, who used to like doing spins on bars and could climb monkey bars effortlessly
Avery was turning 2 soon, just like you you, how time flew
the pals imagined this to be a rocket ship. Check out the matching sparkly shoes which we bought when they were on sale at Cotton on
We took the bus home and reached Plaza really fast. Actually, we stayed really close to Aunt A! Tong was having a bad cough so we went to the clinic to see the doctor. It was too early, tong slept on the couch while mama and jie chatted and the greedy jie munched on her biscuits. Told papa about it and he asked for a photo of the cute chubby angel. Ha.
Papa reached plaza as when we finished seeing the doctor. Had dinner at the food court (jie wolfed down three bowls of noodles, oh my) and we hung around for awhile and went home. oh...another beautiful day...and we thanked Jesus...for blessing us today, tomorrow and our every day. Amen.
