(20 April 16) Legoland

Could not believe it, the last time we went was with JJ a year plus ago when tong was almost turning 4. Then, tong just hit the height limit to go on the rides and we were all so excited for him. Now, he was way beyond the minimum height for most heights, with jie jie almost reaching the height to go on rides alone without the need of the presence of an adult!

yup, still recalled jie, tong and JJ raced on this track together then. Now, only tong could go on this as jie had to go to the other one meant for 6 years old and above. Ha, these cars were rather s-l-o-w...unlike the bumper cars they had been used to

According to papa, jie found the guy in front too slow, so she actually overtook him at a bend...alas, did she inherit papa's irascible driving habit?

taking a breather while we waited for tong to complete his snail course

how heavenly, it was an almost empty park, so we needed not wait long for our turns. Alas, adult supervision was required so papa had to go twice

but come next year, jie would probably be above 120cm, which meant she could take rides alone

what's with the bitter smile? ha

oh no, shark attack

tong was into this dinosaur phase, he would borrow many books on dinosaurs from the same shelf at the Bukit Panjang Library. It was the same few common dinosaurs, so I must have read 1001 books on T-rex, stegosaurus and triceratops.

taking the train ride to go around the theme park

just after the train ride, we sauntered past this new attraction and the show was just about to start! a NEW FEATURE.

I enjoyed the show! About an Ying-Yang dragon who could be a dragon of the Light or a dragon of the Darkness depending on whom bred it... was a tad scary at some points with the spooky dark bats' shadows and maniacal laughter from the evil character...well...I thought the kids still enjoyed it

and of course, papa and the kids went for the fire engine ride

oh we bought the annual pass as it made sense to come in often now that the kids were big enough to enjoy rides...and shopping and eating in Malaysia on a weekday was easy and fun!

Aeroplane ride

admiring the miniature models

we realized that there was actually a look-out spot when we espied someone else doing it

was kind of cool

tong pretending to be a howling wild wolf

and it started raining cats and dogs after lunch...what a pity, the outdoor rides were all closed

sought shelter and waited for the storm to pass

papa and his adorable munchkin

ambled through the mall

just 1ringgit to play on this joy ride...the exchange was 2.87 to $1, oooooooo

on the way to the mall, we set off rather early

Ah, it was just a short distance away

our favourite family pastime - grocery shopping

the tykes were so exhausted that they actually dozed off in the trolley

well, we wanted to buy the brand of chocolate milk which they liked but could not find any. We stocked up on jun's diapers though

Went to shop at Brands Outlets and jie bought 3 leggings, 3 tops, tong bought 3 tops, papa bought 2 polo- tees and one shirt, all really charming clothes and they came up to under s$100! papa's eyes twinkled when he signed on the bill. ha...

went to eat at a seafood restaurant and we headed home...oh, it was a breeze, there was nary a congestion anywhere...and soon we were back in our beloved home. AH, we should plan for another road trip to Malaysia again!

Amazing April 16

took this photo for Matthew's grandma as she asked to see the photo of the girl who stole her favourite grandson's heart...ha...a few days later, jie came out of school and quietly mentioned that she thought she was too young for such things...mama was amused, I assured her we were just kidding...

tong wore this silky shorts to church...thought they were meant for sleeping..but I supposed he felt really comfy in them...ha

well, the usual picture with the balloon arch

on a random day, just capering around

our little flirt

ah ma commented that he was way better looking than tong tong...haha

I thought wai po and ah ma were somewhat biased...ha papa claimed mama favoured jun too... I supposed coz he was the last baby, I let go of a lot of assumptions and ideals of how bringing a child up should be like...so... just going with the flow... poor jie jie...suffered the most from mama imposing all those advice from some baby experts haha

oh how I loved those rotund rolls of fats

and this was tong when he was 1 plus. incredible resemblance?

on a random day when the boys were sound asleep...they did have rather similar poses at times

Tong at his soccer trial!

oh and tong went for his first soccer trial! he was the one in red tee and black silky McQueen shorts

paying close attention

he was all attentive and exhibited quite good ball sense

all of us cheered for tong tong, even Jun jun wore cute little soccer socks

even though his sneakers hurt him, he claimed that he went on playing as he did not want to let his team down...and oh he scored a goal too.

so papa signed him up as he wanted him to play a really manly sport and so that they could have bonding time together

he loved it so much that he asked when would Sunday come as he could not wait to go for his practice again. He fell sick on the following Sun and went for a makeup on Sat but he did not like the place and refused to play after warming up. Perhaps he was still ill. We went for the usual Sun practice and he was all exuberant and cheery again.

so the kids cuddled the baby a lot

they simply could not resist hugging and squeezing him

truly heaven on earth with three bubbly, healthy and beautiful babies

oooo, hold on tightly to darling jie jie's arm

oh another unglam shot that I was so gonna put it into your wedding slides when I give my mother's speech at your weddings!

I thank God that He entrusts me with three angels, I thank Him for giving me the privilege of loving you...love you to bits...xoxoxo
