ah, so mum and dad decided to make Mondays our family dinner night. so, after school, we went to GBTB to check out the latest themed display
we saw tourists lying on the floor to take photos of the super trees. jie attempted and declared the view was great and invited me to try....not on the floor, ha, on the bench... indeed, a different view
the Garden Festival was just over so we saw remnants of the display like these giant tea cups
tong brought a walker penguin along as Natalie had given them out for her birthday celebration. loving it so much, he did not want ah gong to bring it to Marzuki.
wow, an otherworldly looking throne
yup inside the cool dome finally. tried some jumping shots...eh...
they commented this tree looked so furry
orchids dangled from the arches
such a lovely sight
miniature orchids!
just beautiful and scenic all over
we renewed our pass at 40% off, well, I reckoned we would visit this frequently enough
my cutie pies. jun had 5 teeth now and was standing independently briefly on a few occasions...wondered when he would start walking
they had such cute figurines hiding in the orchid garden
the durian house...oooo
this was one gargantuan orchid ball
I forgot why, but jie was pretending to be famished... or full..thus she was rubbing her tummy
oooo a little flower shop
ha, interesting nugget of information
oh we so loved wefies
I liked this figurine the most, she was on a swing, how whimsical
a secret hideout
shrouded by enormous pots
hm spot that weird statue behind?
we did not take the tram as it was too costly, ambled in the cool of the breezy garden, tong was flying his penguin kite
so glad we had quality time to enjoy such sights together
well, we would endeavor to do this even when you were in primary school
dropped off at bras basah mrt and walked through SMU. did not know their mascot was a porcupine!
ha little jun loved sucking his socks....arghhhh
jie was elated to meet isabelle at church today.
well, Sunday's routine was pretty fixed, church, marzuki, dinner and home. jie had joined the troupe competition and rehearsals were intense and time-consuming. it was costly too, all those fees and costume and props... well, it would be an eye opening experience!
jie broke her hairband in school and sobbed bitterly. her friends came to comfort her and fought over who should give up her own hairband for her! some girls brought hairbands for her on the next day, I supposed jie must have been a really well-loved friend.
I love all of you to bits, sweethearts, thanks for letting mama n papa feel like we are living out days of heaven on earth.
