You should never underestimate the amount of time mama had to spend on blogging about your childhood...this was definitely a labour of love...one post could take up one hour...as it was, it was now 2.12 am on a Tuesday...while everyone was asleep in the cool comfy bedroom, I was here with Jun in my lap, trying frantically to finish the entry...arghhh
An amazing journey. You started in the 3rd division, were promoted to the second division, and did well enough to be the third. ha...
The team improved so much., from being greenhorns, eh, no offense to the coaches' choice of colour of the jerseys, and being really clueless on the field when you first started to playing rather skilfully as a team now...it was an awesome growth.
Jie was really stressed during the last match, so much so that she had phantom aches and pains and was crying for most part of the match. Valiantly, she saved many good shots and did really well. We hoped that she would learn to trust that God was on her side and she could call upon Him in times of need.
ha the light-hearted moments - just fooling around, as what a 6-year-old would do
dabbing...
attempting to carry the only girl in the team
what a cute bunch of kids
Well done, kids.
ha, the little ones went to the supermarket with wai po and aunt ah hoon
see that huge smile on bao's face. the pitiful one was going through his third bout of HFMD, oh my.
Xiaoshu's wedding, check out the dapper and handsome ones.
the wacky trio
Jun was so amusing, he bobbed his head as he ambled along the way to the couple...ha...
went to a restaurant in Beauty World for lunch with Uncle Gilbert. Eh, lousy food but great company.
Ha, a rainy day, splashing fun
down memory lane. oh our adorable jie jie
little bro took care of the big bro...as thick as thieves. the big ones loved him so much that they let him get away with lots of things. they were also aware of his sly trick - when jun wanted something, he would put on a blithe smile and use a cute voice..
he also acted cute whenever he was in trouble...haha
ha, wondered why this was upside down...
eh, they began to ask for photos of them on the bus more frequently...
ah, GBTB again. Sakura theme!
Checked out the upper level this time round.
It was as if we were in Japan, we must visit Japan someday. Aiya, told Jun to look up for the photo and he looked up to the sky.
See, up to no good again.
CHEESE.
Now gor gor imitated jun.
Such pretty exhibits.
yeah, finally a photo of mama
Went to the cloud forest and they had revamped a section
ambled to the MRT station. ah...jaw-dropping structures...bronze
gold
silver?
ha, the munchkin brought his gun out
he was always bringing his toys out with him. he actually made the sound "piang piang" to one bus driver, who gamely pretended to be shot. ha...
cerulean sky, fluffy clouds, beautiful kids
we even travelled a far distance to Sembawang Park which had many slides
and interesting pla structures...
heading home again, the little kitten was snuggling with his darling bear bear.
ha, the krav maga instructors told them that the week's task was to wash the toilet
they always came up with interesting tasks, like confessing a lie, emptying the dustbins...i thought it was great that the kids took the tasks seriously and took on things that they would never do
checked out the park at Cashew CC
scenic spot
jie had her grade 2 exam. crossing fingers and waiting for the results
ha, to the zoo again...
working on the illustrations with an illustrator from an Eastern European country...could not wait to see the end product
At Sera's birthday party.. ha the boys loved to be in matching wear...ah...the old man and the young boy were eating lollipops together.
playing at home as usual...
We were going to Legoland tomorrow! papa took the opportunity to take leave to take us out, as it might be some time before he could take leave since he was going to start on a new job...
We prayed that God would give him favour with the new bosses and colleagues.
Mama had been thinking of stopping work. well, the plan was to just do relief teaching at primary schools or TLL when Jun was in K2. heh...I told the kids that we might have to cut down on some leisure activities...tong replied to ask papa to work more. heh...so we prayed that papa would excel at work so he could earn more and let mama be able to focus on building the kids and house in time to come... We love you so much. We love you all the time.
