Mama had just resumed work so I could not take leave to attend the wedding in the day.
Mama knew Xiao Biao Gu when she was about 8 years old. How did time pass so quickly? Now, she was going to be someone's wife and would start her own family. Before we knew it, it would be jie's turn! haha...
Such gorgeous photos of the beautiful bride and bridesmaids.
Solemnisation ceremony and dinner at Asian Civilization Museum. It was a really lovely place with the iconic skyline and Singapore River as its backdrop.
Ha, we thought these Chinese characters make really good photo props.
Xiaobiaogu and her sister
Various family shots - people who had watched her grow up
Ah Gong adored this little princess.
Xiaoshu said he was practicing how to handle a baby.
Hmmm...perhaps he was better off posing as if he was deep in thoughts...
The female cousins...eh...one cousin in law and one niece?
Had a cousins shot
Xiaobiao Gu joked that she felt like a school teacher on a field trip with so many munchkins
They always took photographs based on their ages...
Then...by their heights...this much cherished decade-long tradition should be continued by the younger ones...
They attempted a jumping shot...
Which did not turn out successfully
So they opted for a safer stance
Alas, mama was still hurrying over from her workplace...no family shot...
Xun gave a speech at Biaogu's wedding. We were immensely proud of her for she spoke with aplomb and paused at the correct places for the audience to lap up her humorous anecdotes. The brothers went up to give her support and Tong opened the book at the perfect timing to elicit a gasp from the audience when Jie talked about a present for Biaogu. Jun was hyperactive that night. He was gobbling up cookies and dancing away...haha even till now, he kept gushing about Ipad biaogu randomly...
Punny jie...
Down memory lane...
Ha our little Casper ghost
Papa said he was in army when this photo was taken...
Ha, we would have lots of interesting photos to show at your weddings...
In her speech, Biaogu humorously thanked her hubby for the fireworks, which were let off for the NDP preview. What a fortuitous occurrence.
Against the breathtaking fireworks-lit sky, we wished biaogu that her marriage would be like days of heaven on earth.
