Something to remind myself when days were tough...mei mei was having sleep regression...she slept badly at night and napped for a very short while in the afternoons...She was often fussy and whiny in the day and clung to me like a koala most of the time... oh well...this would also pass.
The soccer tournament had started.
Ate at a vegetarian restaurant (opened by our tenant). Food was delicious. Ended the day with a scrumptious ever popular ice cream cake.
Ah...another cake. I got this cake for free due to the AIA voucher given by Uncle HuiMin. Yum, super decadent chocolatey cake.
Ah...photos of the two little ones who spent their day...just bugging mummy in the day while the big ones were at school...
They were into the pokemon game recently. Bumped into someone who actually researched into this and came up with a cheat sheet...nay, the kids could not be bothered. They just used the most powerful ones they had most of the time.
Ah... she was growing up so fast...
Mei mei was amazingly perceptive and responsive for her age. She could read people's feelings well and was always eager to talk and smile at people, even strangers.
Erm...gosh...this was a photo from years ago...Xiao Yi commented that she could not even see her eyes! GOsh, look at that fringe.
Tried to improvise a safety helmet for mei who had been bumping her head quite a lot! Nay, she did not like it and pulled it off.
Oh 7 months! Wooo hooo. Was wondering if I had forgotten to take this photo. But yeah! Perhaps about 65 cm and 8 kg? Hmmmmm….
Happy 7th month, baby.
We could not believe that you were with us for only 7 months.
We love you to the moon and back.
AH...a meal at Spize (Temasek Club)
Well...nice meal to end the weekend!
XUn took this photo for us...
Tong must have a turn, of course!
See, still awake when it was close to midnight. If she could entertain herself and mama could do her work, that would be fine. But not when mama still needed to keep an eye on her...and the compositions sat there untouched. Alas, I hated marking compositions.
Well..baby, when would you go to bed?
It was futile to fight against the ZZZ monster. look at those droopy eyes...
Children's Day celebration at church
Stumbled upon this Health Promotion Board event at the atrium of Plaza. Had to spend $60 to redeem tickets for xun and tong. Poor Jun could not play as he was too young.
The best part was this giant inflatable.
Had to solve some puzzles
Ha, life-sized futsal table
Well, Jun chose to go to the inflatable at the fun fair outside Hillion Mall since he could not get to play at Plaza.
The big ones said they would pay for their own fees as they wanted to join Jun. I believed in making the children pay for extra privileges such as this so that they would make wise decisions about spending money and treasure the experiences! Ha
This was how the inflatable looked like.
The very greedy mei mei. She loved to munch on our food.
Growing up very well, all those squishy rolls of fat...
It felt like she had been with us for ever and now that she had turned 8 months at the time of writing, we prayed that she would grow up tall and healthy, big and strong.
