I realised that I had not updated the blog for quite some time... Ah... my culinary skills were improving...attempting more adventurous stuff like ramly burgers...
Was reading this book and came across the message written by an old friend...I prayed that all of you would turn out to be compassionate and useful citizens and use your talents to better the society.
Giggles, Jun thought this was a picture of his. Shaggy hair coz we had not been to the barber for a long time since school was closed for a long time during the Covid pandemic
Mei was developing a personality. We loved to watch "Boss Baby" and nicknamed her "The Wild Card" after one of the characters, Stacey, who was one cuckoo character. Mei was feisty and really intelligent.
She could understand many of our instructions, such as finding her shoes when it was time to go out, shaking her head when she did not want certain food, knowing when her body was tired. She loved to bully xiao ge ge and chuckled maniacally at times. She was addicted to Cocomelon nursery rhymes at the time of writing this and would wake up in the morning to ask for cocomelon by pointing to the laptop on the dining table, wait for papa to come home to watch it in the study room while the big ones were in bed and even took the iphone she saw on the table to wai po's house.
Ah treats from friends during the CB
She could scoot at 16 months old and climb the playground structure agilely. Gor gor and Jie liked to play "catch" with her. They would pretend to handcuff her and put her in jail. She had a strong survival instinct; she would sit down on the ground so that they could not pull her away easily. Then when they let go of her hands, she would sprint away.
She did not have to wear a mask but would ask to do so at times coz she liked to imitate the older ones
The three of them loved to sprawl across the bed, leaving poor mummy very little sleeping space..gosh
Went downstairs to play in the sun
big gor gor loved to take photos of her
Went to the speech therapy centre with Jun Jun. His speech was improving greatly, so he might not need to go for the operation. He was unable to say Jie jie and Gege in the past but could say them so clearly now! Hoping for more improvement as he tended not to pronounce the ending sounds and talked too fast so it was still hard to understand him.
Birthday gift from Auntie A
on a sultry day...he fell asleep in the toy car...
They loved to snuggle
Jie had a social studies assignment and interviewed Grand Uncle Brian. Xiao Biao Gu did this years ago too! They even had a photo of her interviewing him. ha...why had the GEP assignments not changed after all these years?
matching matchy wear..
She fell in love with this loud bright pink bag which we took from Waipo's house...
Wai po cut her fringe. ...haha she looked so cute
I did not know what the kids were trying to do...
All warm and cosy
It was always a treat to go to the pool!
Ah mei had this bad habit of eating half of a grape and putting it back! Look at this!
She was a bookworm, just like her big sister..
We went to the beach with Er Yi! Sentosa.
She was daring. Fell into the water and still went on to play in the water without fear.
One sweltering evening...the naughty and nutty baby actually fell asleep on the table and stayed in this position...
She discovered the joy of taking joy rides...
Girl Power! Had other prettier shoes but she liked this pair...gosh
saw this adorable car and thought tong would like it too
signature cheeky look with the cringed nose
We went to the zoo and River Safari. The tram was not in use so we had to walk.. gosh...
It was a good thing that mei liked to sit in the pram as I did not think my poor back could endure baby wearing a 10kg toddler any longer
Birthday celeb; went to dinner with papa on a Tuesday night while wai po took care of the kids. Before I went out, Tong noticed that I was wearing fancy shoes. He recognized that they were from Chanel and asked why i was wearing expensive shoes...Where did he learn that from?
On the way to the triplets' house and we collected the NDP pack. Wooo hooo, found a nice and apt background to take a photo. Uncle Wenxian was in charge of producing this bag so we sent the pic to him.
The badass
Mei loved to play with Grand Uncle Brian's glasses.
As thick as thieves
you you came to wai po's house on one of the Fridays. They had such a whale of a time.
Xiao yi and her weird filters
They built a fort
How nice to have a driver
Chilling at ah ma's house
Ah the messy girl in action. She loved to mess up the house by emptying all the game boxes of its contents...gosh
jie was growing up so quickly too... that day, she wore a pair of Chanel sunnies out when it was just a trip to Hillion Mall...
