5 Biaogu got married!

Ah two really occasions this year - 5 Biaogu was finally getting married...and Xiao Yi too! OOOO two long-awaited weddings...of course, it cost Papa a BOMB too. ha

There was the tea ceremony at Bukit Batok. We did not intend to attend it actually as it was Children's Day and the children did not want to miss the fun festival. Papa decided to go there at the last minute, so we dropped Tong at the sports complex for his badminton training and headed over.

Papa was really in love with this little imp

I told her to glance at him and she initially gave him a bombastic side-eye ( i had no idea what this phrase actually meant but you kids were using it soooo often)...well she was truly Papa's past life's lover

Yay, we had taken our attendance by appearing right after the tea ceremony and before the couple had to go off. Of course, we needed a photo.

At Orchid Country Club. Ah...the LV aficionados...heh well papa bought the very first oblong LV bag for me because I saw a mother and her daughter carrying these two bags and I commented to Papa that I would like to do it too if I had a daughter...yeah...but Jie wasn't a big fan of fancy bags...but Mei truly was...haha...and Ah Ma bought the pochette for me when she went to Europe...ah, so Jie matched Ah Ma's bag, how nice!

Ah Gong had wanted to join in the first photo but was not allowed to as he was not carrying an LV bag...hahaha

Ha, all the nephews and nieces were called into action ..Gayle and Eden were the emcees and Max was the one who opened the wedding car door in the morning

Oh, who was that dude in the handsome tuxedo...haha

We had fun taking photographs with the couple. The groom was especially game for funny actions.

Three generations of ladies who stood at the same height...not for long though, Xun would surely be growing taller

My cute little dude proposing to his sister

The ballroom was pretty and Xun started talking about how her wedding would be...gosh...my little Xun Xun...

I wish they would stay small forever

The cutie pie

The silly bro

Mei with her favourite cousin, Gayle

I forgot that I actually bought these matching cousin tees!

herded the little ones to go out to take photos...caught in action by Aunt Val

I wondered why Tong always had a glum face when he took photos

Someone commented, was it Da Biao Gu, that Jun looked happy in every photo

Well, cousins are our very first friends...the teens were behaving a little awkwardly now though...they used to be really chummy and chatter a lot...but now there were pregnant pauses and an air of reservation...oh ...I guessed it was a phase...

by height

 by age

which they would grow out of...and before we knew it, they would be chattering like monkeys at CNY gatherings, like what the older generation of cousins did...continuity of kinship and closeness.. what a blessing to have cousins!
