Reunion dinner at a vegetarian restaurant in Chinatown. We were experimenting with taking the same post with different phones ... well...Papa's Samsung phone had the prettiest photos...ya coz it had an inbuilt filter...which was not too obvious at first glance but it did smoothen the face and light up the background and people's faces
Gathering at Mum's place
Xiaoshen did a lucky scratch card game. She bought DIY cards and asked her daughter to write different amounts on them. Then each family got to pick one. We got $38! Not too bad at all.
Then over at Ah Ma's house
Ah...such liveliness and joy
Photos for the different generations
Heh, the young ones too
But they did wacky shots
And she fell on Gege...loved this shot of her laughing her head off
Went to Mum's Xiaoshifu's place of worship..
We went to You's home after that and finally met Ohio!
Celebration at my workplace
We won the decoration contest
Something I saw on FB one day
Well...documenting the strange manner in which we found Mei sleeping in on one of the random days
I must say she looked pretty cute no matter what
One night, she rolled off the bed and was all squished up with her darling Gor gor
Went to the CC reservoir to take a walk
She just started ballet class. She loved it so much...and i guessed she was pretty suitable for it as she loved pretty things and performing...we were shopping at Sheng Shiong Supermarket and she said, woah Mummy, Prime. I read about Prime online, some influencer's product which was selling like hotcakes in USA. What, Mei knew such things? She was really...to precocious for her age, with all the singing of pop songs, like CUPID, with Jie...and using of teens' lingo, always asking me to CHILL
Gasp, my very first GUTD article came out in Edition 20!
Such a divine reminder from God as I was feeling discouraged that day, questioning my life purpose and talents...and this article was about not looking down at whatever gifts we had been blessed with!
The triplets gave this silly game to Mei and the kids totally adored it. Ah...kids and potty humour.
Mei was a most dutiful student. She came back to tell me all kinds of things that her teachers had said, and she obeyed them to the T. She told Papa to take a picture of her playing the game so that she could report to her teacher that she had done it.
She enjoyed scootering to school...most of the time, she used the pram as she liked to eat snacks or take a nap on the way home...sometimes she was sleepy in the day and liked to nap on the way there too. A friend taunted her quite a bit in the first few weeks but she could not care less. What a self-confident sassy girl!
We saw a monitor lizard in the lorry...ahahahha
Mama went for a jelly art cake making course with Godma. Ah...I was really proud of mself
Yup, I would like to keep learning new things...and yeah...I recently signed up for an AI course to learn how to generate digital art. Ah...maybe I could do my own illustrations for Mei's book and save the illustration fees! HA.
Look at Anders' hand!
We celebrated Good Friday and You's birthday together. I always thought we needed not travel to some faraway expensive place for a holiday when all the kids wanted was to be together to play online. HAHAHAHA
Papa and his xiao qing ren
Happy Easter!
oh we got a water dispenser at home! YEs, spring water really did taste different. It was slightly alkaline so it had a smooth taste. Well....good for Papa coz he had a liver problem and his cousin recommended that he drink spring water. Here, Mei posed next to the actual one with her tiny dispenser. Ha
The poor Tong fell asleep after a long day at school. Mama bought this back cushion for Jie's bench and all the kids loved it. It was especially good for Tong to cuddle to sleep on a hot sultry day.
