It was a whirlwind of activities after we landed in Singapore at 930pm last night and then zipping home to unpack, repack and wash and hang the laundry (alas, we still had one full load of laundry waiting for us at home). Ha ha, but at 7am this morning, we were all set to go to Desaru with Ah Gong and Ah Ma! Another adventure awaited us!
Ate breakfast at a quaint coffeeshop. The wanton noodles, fried kway teow and porridge were amazing. Papa and I liked such simple fare - nourishing to the soul and easy on the pocket!
Jie said that she was famished as we last ate dinner at Chiang Mai airport at 5pm yesterday!
Nice shot of our car heading to the distinctive bridge spanning over the sea ...this was an iconic bridge that every vehicle going to Desaru would have to go across
We went to Johor Premium Outlet and shopped for three hours! Jun and Mei bought some tees from Padini. Jie, Tong, Papa and Mama bought things from Adidas which was having a superb sale. Tong's Adidas shoes were a mere 99.60RM! Jie's running shoes were less than 100RM too. Jie was the happiest as she bought more things from Cotton on - a dress, sneakers, tops...ha
It was Father's Day and we joked that Papa's greatest joy was to spend money on us! YAY. Coincidentally, Papa booked a villa in the very same gated neighbourhood that we stayed in during the holiday with Wai Po and her siblings a few years ago!
The sun was shining brightly so we seized the opportunity to visit the beach, the very one that we had wanted to go to with Youyou and all the other time but were denied access as it was near closing time.
Ha, sun, sea, sand - the combination never failed to delight us
Mama became an IG mum, helping Jie take 10,001 shots at the beach. She was trying out this trend of drawing faces in the sand
Papa was digging a massive hole for the little ones
truly scorching weather...
But no one was complaining!
Dylan did not like the sand very much and washed his hands every few minutes
Aura farming?
Loved Jun's shaggy look - but it was time to trim his hair!
Dinner at Yoo Kee Seafood - a laid-back, lesser-known seafood restaurant that was nestled in one of the small streets...
Ah...the food was absolutely delicious - the highlight being the butter lobsters! Ha, we sent this photo to Er Yi and all and they sent us photos of themselves enjoying crabs and lobsters in Singapore too. Heh..I guessed, all the daddies were enjoying lobsters on this special day!
We were thankful that Daddy always took good care of us, planned for trips meticulously, spoiling us with good food and shopping... all in all always protecting and providing for us.
Happy Father's Day, Hunny! I love you to the moon and back.
