(last week of June 16) Museum, Kidsstop, Friend's party, Nature Reserve

Was supposed to go for dental check up at the Student Dental care one day. Cute little tong asked for permission to take a photo and I was so amused to see this adorable little picture in my handphone. He had such an endearing smile and even caught me in the background.

Got the date wrong and we could not go for the check-up. Since we were out, we asked ah gong to bring us to the Singapore National Museum as there was some kids' festival going on there now.

Gigantic displays outside...so you took the slides and asked to take photos in the hiding places

It was free for Singaporeans, which was a really cool thing. We saw a gallery that had the retro theme, so all the costumes, objects, displays dated to the 50s, 60s, and 70s. It was really vintage.

This was the most intriguing one. The staff poured some paint, you pedalled and viola, a painting was born.

we were supposed to decorate the mask..it was done up in a jiffy with each of you drawing on half a side to make up a butterfly

the paper was too small even for tong tong..oh well...

the masks on display were really cool though

wow, a life-sized board game. We were really into board games nowadays. It was exhilarating to play on this, it culminated at the slide...

felt like we were like in the wonderland that Alice went to

colouring activities...a short jaunty visit and off we scooted home

jun seemed to be growing in resemblance to tong tong, so everyone gushed

this picture popped up in papa's newsfeed. the chubby jie at for for Jo's house

we celebrated Aunt Anita's 36th birthday. Well, jie let the cat out of the bag by wishing her Happy Birthday...then when we bought the cake and were having lunch together, she kept letting slip how we had a surprise for her...by muttering we had a "mmm mmm mmm"...

we learnt that Aunt Anita could not take too much chocolate as the caffeine kept her up at night. Ha, ah...jie gave her half of her utterly sinful super chocolate coated waffle and...mama chose a absolutely death by chocolate cake...Anita was one blissful lady as she said she felt so loved by us...orrrr

and yea, we always enjoyed a sweet cool respite in the sweltering heat...if jun could play longer in future, i betted we would be there all the time

the little rotund one was gaining weight well

off to kids stop on a random Thursday..that was what we always do...mama was already brainstorming on the various permutations for her workdays next year in view of Xun xun going into primary school.. my goodness, it would be a lot of ferrying around...and logistics arrangement...arghhh

ya, we explored the kinetic garden and saw this really awesome transformer robot which was made up of scrap materials

oh that day, we went to Uncle Kheng Lee's son's birthday party. It was a chic new condominium at Punngol and it even boasted of dining in the pool. Of course, it enthralled the kids..so much so that tong asked to have such a feature in the next house we were moving to in future

the function room was decorated really beautifully...ha mama snapped a shot and sent it to xiao yi and uncle alston, declaring that they were the decor team for jun's birthday

well, we always had fun...we found enjoyment in very simple things

yup, photo taking time

felt so blessed...so blessed, I could not contain it...

papa had to go back to work though it was a public holiday. We met up with mama's sisters at wai po's house. The adults played MJ, the little ones went to Bukit Batok Nature Reserve with wai gong and wai po

we fed the fish and turtles with some stale bread..ha...saw many monkeys and had a good workout

well, three little monkeys going bananas...I could not wait for jun to be older so he could join in the merrymaking and...perhaps I could be the one playing MJ and the grandparents could bring the munchkins out on their own. heh.
