Woah, before we knew it, Christmas had crept up and the malls were once again decked in splendor! Checked out the decorations at Bukit Panjang Plaza, so festive and gay.
First time at Tickle Tickle at Junction 10.
Tim had a whale of a time just in this little tikes car for a really long while. I was just ambling around in circles, trying to clock steps for my AIA vitality plan so I could get my $5 grocery voucher for the week. Ha, papa and I were really into this!
The usual suspects in the indoor playground - hamster merry-go-round
There were several enclosed areas with different themes. The "rooms" were in a disarray, toys all over the place and floor...the staff did not bother tidying up periodically...
tong found all different kinds of vehicles and transport-related toys
While Jun definitely had a huge soft spot for vehicles too. the precocious one was playing so well and independently...while jie jie was a lot older before she dared to explore new places and things on her own, jun would just dash off after the siblings and check out the novel stuff
the swinging monkey
even jun could have some fun on the swing
oh yet another vehicle
this resembled a SembCorp truck!
playing with a new friend in the cooking area
while tong gathered more vehicles, this time a really cool submarine
tinkering with toys
getting the hang of playing on these dangling balls
oh mama bought new bicycles on Taobao using ezbuy prime shipping, we looked forward to receiving the items!
Ganged up with some new friends to play games
checked out the delightful smile on his face...it never failed to warm my heart when this little precious one smiled
someone hurt tong by throwing a toy at his head accidentally. A big brother thought up of the idea of making him wear a helmet for protection.
when mama approached his mama, she was initially worried that I was going to complain about her son...ha, that was the usual instinctive reactions we had whenever people asked, "is XXX your child?" We always assumed bad rather than good news.
after playing for 4 hours there, we left and took the train to Bugis to wait for papa. The exhausted tong was sooooo drained that he nodded off, right there while sitting on the floor at the MRT station
One of the rituals when he took ah gong's car. While waiting for the siblings to be released from class, he would climb onto ah gong's laps and play with the steering wheel
went on our weekly visit to the library. The one at plaza was under renovation so we had to traverse all the way to choa chu kang. But reading was our passion, not going to let distance deter us.
well, the kids always the LRT ride, pretending that they were on a roller coaster.
on the day of jie jie's camp, papa was away in India but he sent a sweet note with gorgeous flowers to cheer up our day
jie jie went for her sleepover camp at Jurong Bird Park with the school.
The school whatsapped pictures of what happened at different junctures
They even set up tents!
Oh, all snug and cozy
breakfast with the flamingoes in the morning. all bright and chirpy
A successful outing. Jie gushed about how all of them wished they could stay over for two nights or even three instead of just one.
December was coming swiftly...we would be so busy, catching up with friends and visiting all the different malls for the shows...and before we knew it, Jie would be in primary 1...our lives would be radically changed as we needed to tuck in early in order to have enough sleep....well, with God's grace, we would definitely ease into this new phase smoothly...pray so....
