On a jaunty jaunt to the Lot 1's library...eagerly anticipating our plaza's library to reopen again in early 2017. It would be bigger and boast of a better stocked kids' section...could not wait...
even Jun liked browsing the books...ha...what a cute sight of three of them at the table, side by side...
They enjoyed going to the playground so much...
Ha, Xun was a keen climber like mama, I used to scale such structures and do spins from the bars, it was a sight to behold, I was always very smug of my agility...so maybe xun had inherited that? papa would say it was all from his athletic genes..
San yi's MIL was sick so wai po was taking care of aden. It was astounding how wai po managed to make the two babies nap at the same time, on two mattresses, and she could still cook and...pass time peacefully...SALUTE
so wai po and san yi would bring the munchkins to the playground downstairs to soak in the sun
Xun carried jun down the slide and I heard he had a chuckling good time
Went to plaza and they had this model car, so xun asked to sit in it and proclaimed that it was rather comfy.
Tested the kids again on their love languages, took the 9-12 yr old quiz as they did not have one pertaining to younger kids. oh well...
Both of them love "quality time" and "gifts"...so I guessed papa and I know what to focus on. Mama was heartened that I left my full time job to be at home more for you.
Deepavali
ha, hardly ever spent Saturdays with you kids as mama worked on Sats. It was a public holiday so we brought you to ORTO, a family park at Yishun where there was longkang fishing. Alas, it was raining cats and dogs, you two were very despondent...we were eating at the café overlooking the prawning section, the two of you moped and gazed sadly at them
papa sent us to ah ma's house and the rain lightened. We got ah gong to send us to Big splash instead. Wow, the stall uncle was so generous to us. We wanted to pay for 2 hours' of fishing but he stated that it would be too long a time. He gave us 1 hr 40 min instead and charged us only an hour and gave us a rental tank FOC so that you two did not have to share!
I told jie how good God was, that He had better plans. If not for the rain, we would not have come to Big Splash and experienced such blessings...and have the chance to check out the new playground at ECP. So everything worked out really well, way better than what we had planned. You knew why you were posing like this in the above two photos? The one on top was of you dancing with a cookie and this was of you running away from a bottle of ketchup. Yup, mama was going to publish a book of your quirky puns. hahaha.
we went past the road safety park and mama talked about how kids used to come here to play, it was really cool to be able to go on an excursion then, it was so rare. Unlike current times, when the kids got to go for excursions every term, and even primary school kids got to travel overseas! Even jie would be going for a stayover camp at Jurong Bird Park next week!
The new playground!
Jie sure loved to climb.
Tong the cute hamster in the spinning ball
We loved the nonsensical funny mirrors
loved the optical illusions
A man was putting up free bubble shows at the beach.
It was breathtaking, he used his homemade devices and bubble solution to make really lasting and beautiful bubbles...
The children yelped in delight and hurriedly sprinted to burst them
Delightful day. Happy Deepavali, kids.
At Sunday school again. I was awed by their balloon sculptures all the time, how did they have such fanciful imagination to do such fantastic designs?
Let us take off into outer space, babies. Love you so much. The December holiday was coming...yooooohoooooooooo
