(6 Dec 16) Christmas Wonderland at GBTB

The glorious Gardens by the Bay...it was so decked in magnificence!

A gargantuan musical instrument...

checking out where the sights were

Loved these vintage European-yet-look-somewhat-Indian-when-lit-up structures lining the broad pavement

Everything was dressed up in such glittery colours

The lazy tong asked for a pram...so we rented one at $2 from the customer service counter...it gave me lots of headache having to arbitrate on whose turn it was...

if only we could live in the snow globe ha

tong helped to take the above picture, great attempt

eh...should have taught jie jie how to use the zoom in function

the three rascals

If only there were interactive activities held here, like what they did for the June holidays...

I was enthralled by the blooms

while jie was captivated by the angels

the beautiful christmas trees...

Did jie look a tad pudgy in this dress? Perhaps it was time to give it away...

The very hardworking sister who helped to push the two heavy boys around

It was sooooo freezing cold...good thing we brought jackets along this time

Oh instead of the venus trap, they chafed it into a rather...oddly coloured orchid

After the cloud forest, we had a snack at our favourite fast food joint

waiting eagerly for the Christmas Wonderland to open at 330pm

met up with Kayra and Avery for a snow playground session. It sure was costly at $12 for 20 minutes

The kids had lots of fun...tong and xun also went for the $4 per slide activity and went down the slippery slope on a tire...perhaps we should just go to snow city next time

oh caught a picture with the mascot

funny shot

oh I thought I would have two heart breakers at home next time...oh made it 3, I betted that there would be many suitors for all three of you, ha

The night view was breathtaking

Iridescent lights brightening up the night sky

Better take some group photos before we parted ways

of course, it was a fun-filled day. My back was breaking from carrying Jun around for the entire day under the sweltering sun though...oh well...

Barely the middle of the month yet, gotta meet more friends!
