(December 16) Fun, fun, fun - Zoo, River Safari, Legoland

Had not seen Aunt Lindy for a long time, her third kid, Gianelle, had blossomed into a 5 year old child while my memory of her stagnated at when she was a baby girl...ha..

such a great catch up with Gracia, Gabriel, Gianelle and Aunt Lindy. We played lots of games...eh, including some hair chalk kit, which explained this photo...jie was trying to style Jun, who looked like some heavy metal rock star punster here.

oh, heh, the book about jie jie had finally come to fruition. After an arduous 6 weeks, which was rather amazing, I felt it was a feat, the book was finally out. heh....now we were in the midst of delivery...papa had been such an ardent supporter...glad to say, we probably were going to break even soon, phew. ha.

well, papa took leave and brought us to the zoo and River Safari on a scorching weekday.

the little buaya with the gonna be a heart-breaker when he grew up buaya?

Some dinosaur theme was going on at the zoo, so tong was thrilled, he was so into dinosaurs nowadays.

went for the animal show and jie valiantly volunteered to be the helper! I meant, she was so gung-ho when it came to such public appearances but yet was as meek as a mouse in school? I could not reconcile that at all.

Yeap, because of jie jie, we got to take a free photo with the seal...eh, it was at the right of the photo...looked kind of dark and part of the rocks?

squeezing into one cosy pram...

popped over to Junction 10 to play with friends and the kids definitely would not miss a photo opportunity

jun had this amazing ability to hold the pencil correctly even at a tender age...he loved pens and pencils, he loved to scribble and doodle...perhaps he could be an author, politician...civil servant when he grew up?

ah ma called this the Marzuki Enrichment Centre. Poor jun, he had to start doing work at such a young age. Jie only started formal schooling at 5, tong at 3...I thought I would send jun in at 2 so I could have a breather when the boys were at school...eh...but between dropping the boys till picking up jie, there was only an hour difference? Alamak.

Went out with our favourite cousins!

Oh JEM was beautifully decorated too

The cutie pie with his varied expressions. Well, recently he had taken to displaying his displeasure when adults scolded him. apparently, he sulked and stared angrily at Aunt Ah hoon who told him off for playing with something he ought not to...

then ah ma complained that she put him on the floor while she ate dinner, and he leaned his head against her leg and glared moodily at the floor and refused to look at her even when she carried him later...ha

well, he always liked to lie on the floor and whined when he did not get his way...he had tried sitting on the floor and not budging for a few times when we were out and about...

ah ma's favourite people in the world

ah, you would not believe it, papa just touched down at 6plus am after a work trip to India and then he whizzed us to Legoland with our legoland buddies, Yang yang and his parents.

Uncle YS went to get the buggies...and we thought he had gotten the single size ones instead of the double riders...eh...the buggies somewhat looked like they had shrunk! The kids seemed to have grown a lot in the past 3 months since the last visit. ha

The hardworking daddies. Had a minor incident, mama was guarding the bag while papa brought the kids to the Star Wars' ride. When we left, no one thought about the bag that was left on the bench. ha...phew, papa went back and retrieve it, nothing was lost. Thank GOD.

Uncle YS went off after leaving Legoland, we actually went to the premium outlet (papa wanted to buy the cheap designer CK polo shirts, sad to say, it had closed down), then to our usual haunt, Aeon at Bukit Indah)..spent lots of money. Crocs was going 1 for 1, so xun got two pairs, tong had two pairs, papa had one and Jun had one. Interestingly, Jun's crocs, though the tiniest, was the most expensive! But what a bargain to have 1 for 1!

Papa totally spoilt xun by allowing her to buy NINE pieces of clothing from that brands outlet shop, which happened to be Xun's favourite shop. Uncle YS commented that her eyes lit up when we talked about shopping. Well, her future boyfriend and husband would have a hard time matching up to the amount of love that Daddy showered on his baobei xun xun.

I realized we went for many meet-ups but mama had not been very hardworking in updating the blog or taking photos any more...

Thankful for this bunch of friends from Arise...hoped we would continue to meet up even the boys parted ways...

Well...more adventures to be continued...
