(Dec 16) More celebrations - Panjang, ah gong's birthday

Went to Uncle Huimin's house for the Christmas dinner. Boy, was the food sumptuous. Jun was hounding the poor little old dog for the whole night, yanking its hair and chasing it...The food was delectable, the company was delightful

Then on 26th, we met at Waipo's house to celebrate San Yi's birthday!

The adults were playing mahjong in the afternoon, then we brought the kids out for a stroll at Bukit Batok Nature Reserve in the evening

the intrepid jun enjoyed touching the sand

What a lovely picture with that reflection in the still waters and lush hills in the background

The older ones were on scooters...wow, imagine all the young ones having their own scooters next time, it would be a gang of 6 rowdy rambunctious munchkins.

The grandparents were absolutely busy

A new year was looming...both papa and I wondered how had the year gone by so quickly

I was very thankful for the awesome extended family support we had...maybe next time all your little cousins could come over to play at our house during the holidays

the sisters...and little babies

xiaoyi expressed doubts over having her own kids in future, seeing what an arduous task it was

We stayed over pretty often on Fri nights since mama worked on early Sat mornings. ha, so you would see scenes like this - three kiddos parked in front of the TV, all snug and cosy

or having rollicking fun on the bed

Sometimes to the playground...

got these two bikes from Taobao, assembled FOC by papa's colleague's hubby. Speedy cool bikes.

We got two birthday cakes for ah gong. When we first celebrated it on a Tuesday, tong fell asleep at the restaurant and ah gong did not get a photo with all his precious grandchildren. So he requested for a second cake and made sure everyone was awake. Ha, we prayed that ah gong would be in divine health, and that all the desires of his heart would be fulfilled. Amen.
