We were settling into a new routine of getting into bed by 9pm, so the kids would be asleep by 10. That left papa and mama time to pursue leisure activities, like reading, watching TV, catching up on each other's day...and we also turned in earlier...so yeah, great start to a healthy living lifestyle
How could it be that my cutie pie little cookie sweetheart had blossomed into a fine young lady without me realizing it?
papa was there for the first two days during recess. Mama was asleep with tong and jun at home. I supposed...I was the more relaxed caregiver. I knew jie jie would adapt well, it was an ordinary milestone, not something to boast about...
We knew she would adjust to life well, with her positive and cheerful outlook.
We were assured that Jesus would watch over her.
Papa commented that she was a smart little girl, came out of the canteen to look for him.

On wed, when mama went to work, ah gong would pick xun and go for lunch while waiting for tong's school to end. Then you would both go to waipo's house to be with our darling jun jun.
Tong started K1 too. Ha, jun looked like he might be ready to start school earlier, maybe at 2+ years old? Tong had requested not to wear the diaper at night as he wanted to be off diapers at 4 years old. Yup, jie only did it at 5, I supposed it got younger with each subsequent kid?
Even jun wanted to join in the fun, the trio always created a ruckus in ah ma's room, coming up with random silly games
or perhaps giving ah ma some moments' of peace when every one tuned into the ipad...
ah gong had updated the trishaw, adding in jun's name.
could not wait to see all 3 taking a breezy ride, attracting amused looks from strangers, in the neighbourhood.

the cousins had all started their P1 journey. oh even Jayron was starting school.
The triplets..
Things were looking so good. We were very thankful. Mama had such clarity of purpose for my life this year. I strove to better the world by choosing to be positive and thankful. God had and would always be very good. We were so awfully blessed and privileged to have one another. We would continue to trust that God would put us exactly where we should be.
Before you knew it, the Chinese New Year decorations were up. Taken at the same armchair that was used for Christmas, albeit with a new background that heralded Chinese new year...
We were so thankful that it was going to be the YEAR OF JUBILEE.
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for this year of love, peace and joy. Thank you for this coming year of celebration.
