Yay at River Wonders with Gege this time round! Well...Mei was tall enough to take the boat ride! YAY FINALLY
Was a quiet day...
Glad we renewed our zoo pass
Went to the zoo to take the carousel too
The little chef hard at work...arising from a friend's recommendation, we started buying frozen xiaolongbaos, siewmais and lo mai kais from a dim sum shop in JB. Woah...the food tasted really good. Tong would steam one entire try of XLBs every time, so they ran out pretty fast. It got to the point that we brought back a two tiered steamer (which was gifted to us some 16 years ago by a relative when we moved into the Potong Pasir home) and amazingly it was still working!
The little kitty loved to cuddle with her gege.
Fell in love with the Hai Di Lao snacks and bought an entire carton
Ah...the kids had been rather unproductive ever since Tong finished his PSLE and Jun his school exams..
Mama went out with her friends for tea...
The little one, looking absolutely adorable...She took a photo with the new LRT train to show Papa
Book Character Day! My little pony, my little pony...ah ah ah
A teacher dressed up as a dinosaur! That was so cool.
Children's Day celebration at church, complete with carnival game stalls and ice cream
Met up with an ex colleague who lived in USA
Ordered stingray and seafood from Mama's cousin who was an engineer-turned-hawker
Birthday present from Uncle Zack to Jun! It was to make a figurine of a white dog, some Sanrio character, but Jun never liked to follow instructions..
So he made this structure which was a game console, a handphone wefie stand, a camera plus it even had his name at the back!
She was really asleep....
Been praising the boys whenever they did manly things. I said my shoulder hurt so he carried my bag
Treated ourselves to ice cream
The gentlemanly boy took Mei's bag too
Jie did a powerpoint presentation to convince us that she should be allowed to go to join the Chinese Studies Program which would give her a chance to go to Taiwan for an immersion...eh..it did not work out. She was not chosen to go to Taiwan...and she decided to pull out from the application to the program...sigh...that silly goose
Mama's ballet friend...she was returning to Indonesia for good
Being hardworking and doing Chinese tuition homework
Birthday celebration at this fancy restaurant in MBS. KOMA. Certainly a very IG-worthy photo spot.
Went to the bar next to it for free after the dinner...
It even had a ferris wheel indoors!
Young once again
Jun and his "creative" drawing?
Papa doing his HADC duty with his friend
Celebrating Jun's birthday at Ah Ma's house
Jun invited some friends to the indoor playground to celebrate his birthday..well he invited the neighbour on the second floor though he had only played with her once at Alice's home...and not the neigbour boy upstairs whose mum gave him rides when Papa was not free...alas alas
Came home for a pizza party
Played games together
Alice gave him $150 worth of Roblox credits. GOSH
Alice and Jie had fun singing Karaoke...(side note: We got the news that she would be transferring to RGS as she got into the GEP. She wrote a note to Jun to encourage to work hard and said she knew he could do it.)
Well...Jun had a fabulous time!
Mei was playing with the present given by Tristan. Apparently, the two boys would pray before taking their exams...so sweet..hope they would remain friends for a long time
Papa was going to attend the DND as a minion
Gasp, someone created a spooky scene at the HDB estate
The little girl sulking during a swimming class...
Verse for Papa
Verse for Mama - I could finally wear my wedding band again
Mei bumped into something and was whimpering away. She told me to take a photo to show Daddy...
Yay MJ time again
Gor's friends came to play. A really sweet and polite bunch.
Mei liked Ee-Yann the most. He was always gentle and sweet to her.
Mei was so comfortable being with the boys. They were very sweet to her. She wanted to play but Tong said NO and they told Tong off and insisted on letting her join. Well...she beat some of them.
They had a splashing good time.
Jun said I should use "They had a whale of a time".
Ledge Fight ha
Ha, Mama went to a colour analysis with Papa, Er Yi and Xun. Turned out that Papa and Mama looked good in warm spring colours and Xun and Er Yi looked good in warm autumn colours. Mama had been wearing colours I did not use to wear, like biege, yellow, brown...and had been getting compliments from colleagues! YAY.
Yes, this weird lass liked sleeping on the cold floor...
Could you believe it? It was almost Christmas.
Went out with a dear old friend. Ha used the filter for this photo!
I started belly dancing. It was really fun. I felt like I was more in touch with my younger self and now could have time doing things that I liked instead of just being a MUM. ha.
Last day of school! Went to River Wonders again. Making good use of our annual pass.
Then met You and Yanjie at the indoor playground at KINEX. Heh, made arrangements to skip the Thurs Chinese tuition class.
Ah...the rest finally knew what Herman looked like. Well, Mama saw him while picking Mei up once. Now Mama's sisters said Mei had good taste, while Daddy said Jun and Tong were way more handsome than this chap. LOL
Showed Gayle that Mei was eating a Winnie the Pooh ice cream. Gayle went to buy a box for the whole family to eat the next day. Cute!
Yay. FIRST TIME EVER. Wai po took care of the kids and Er Yi, Er Yi Zhang, Papa and Mama went to JB together! Breakfast at this quaint lovely newly opened Chinese cafe. The food was GOOD.
Premium outlet shopping. Papa's first purchase. Comforters for the kids so they needed not fight over the good comforter on Friday nights when we all stayed over. HA
For lunch, we went to our favourite zi char stall at TAMAN Sentosa market. Absolutely scrumptious butter crayfish... 60 RM for two small crayfish, perfectly enough for two adults. Ah...bliss
Night market. YUMMMYYYY food, especially the thai meat sticks and muah chee! We lingered in the mall till it was closing time! Er Yi said she had never stayed in a mall in JB till such a late hour. The kids had a fabulous time playing together. The adults certainly enjoyed themselves. Well..You you was open to the idea of staying over at Wai Po's house so long Tong went over too. Mei even confidently stated that she would take care of You and Yan Jie coz she was not scared of the dark and ghosts and would accompany them to the toilet. LOL...well...Papa and I looked forward to more peaceful couple nights.
Bought a new foam toy which could be used at the pool!
OH she dropped her two bottom teeth! And little stubs were already growing out!
A colleague suddenly texted me to say she had been walking into every miniso in search of the tiny Mimi but had never been able to find it. LOL. So sweet of my friend to have Mei in mind all this while. So I sent this photo to her and she said Mei was such a precious girl. HA
GASP...the most spectacular event of the year...Day of the release of PSLE results. The night before, Tong was rambling on and on about how he thought he would get AL5 for just Chinese alone..and both Mama and he were feeling slightly edgy..well it was certainly a miracle...
We saw Tong's name on the slide which indicated the TOP PERFORMERS. I clasped Papa's hand and cried. Then I told him that God showed me a vision at the beginning of the year, that Tong would get 5 points. But the vision was too BOLD, too unbelievable, too BIG...so I did not tell anyone...BUT luckily I told PAPA before we went to wait with Tong to get the result slip from the teacher. PAPA was flabbergasted when he saw the beautiful score. IT WAS A GRACE-FILLED 5. I did not know why Tong looked kind of dismayed in that photo. Perhaps he was in disbelief too?
Well, he hardly smiled but he had a dazzling one here. His friends could not believe that he did so well, they kept shouting, HOW, REALLY? Isaac, FIVE? He was certainly a DARK horse...having gotten 13 in the prelims and...just generally not ranking among those stellar ones in usual times..but God answered his prayer exceedingly above all that he asked for...
Mama actually saw another vision when I walked to Wai Po's house to drop the small ones in the morning. I wrote it in the kids' diary and we would see if it would materialise.
Last day of class with my favourite P2 girls' class. A pity that I only took them for a year...alas
With the Sat 11 am girls. This was a good class. Good caliber and well-behaved
The boys were sweet too
4pm class. Bright but so boisterous
Ha, Reyenne was so affected and kept asking me to continue teaching them...the cute little girl
Went to Bird Paradise as Jun wanted to go to the water play area. Ha. Saw this and sent it to Papa who said now he understood why he was chubby...
She wore a flamingo swimsuit and struck a flamingo pose..
Well this was a cuckoo bird
Ah...how blissful it was to have a sibling
Well, moved out Gor's clothes from the white wardrobe and gave Mei another drawer. Now with the clothes more easily visible, she found this Chelsea jersey and wore it to show Daddy...
Ha, Daddy's little sweetheart
Celebration for the October babies
Had my favourite pancakes with Uncle Jamson
Eve of the flight to Australia...pretty much all packed...Tong was bursting with happiness and excitement...well, this was his reward trip...he was worried that he might not do well and would be filled with sadness during the trip...ah..but God was so sweet so sweet...so he could totally go and enjoy himself now!
Heh, first trip with Granduncle Brian, 4 gor po and 5 gor po. Papa was such a generous nephew, he offered to pay for all the expenses. That was one of the main things that made Mama love Papa. He had such a big and good heart.
ALL READY FOR OUR ADVENTURE. We prayed to God for wisdom, favour and protection. God is good, All the time.
