(21 May) Sun at West Coast Park and Mon with T. Sha

West Coast Park on 19 th May 13

Xun, you said you wanted to go and fly kites...so mama bought a $2 kite from Daiso and papa brought us to West Coast Park. It was a harassing car ride as we took a wrong route and could not find the place for quite some time. However, all that was forgotten when we reached the sunny, cheery West Coast Park.

The wind was really breezy and strong. The kite went up effortlessly. You cheered and jiggled a victory dance when your kite went up. You managed to fly one on your own too.

Xun and Daddy, looking cool in their sunnies.

Tong was roaming on the muddy grass.

Our $2 kite from Daiso! It was a good flier!

We had great fun writing and digging in the sand.
It was a pity I did not take a photo of the 4-seater kart we took. Previously, we did something similar at East Coast Park when Tong was younger. He could not sit still and down for long periods of time. Now he is a little bigger, he can sit down for meals and activities for quite long periods of time. Talking of which, recently, Daddy brought you and Tong to Wu Yi Poh's house. Everyone said Tong Tong was such a well-behaved and easy boy, being able to sit still and not at all boisterous and hyperactive, just like papa when he was young.Well...if only they know the real Tong.... and that papa was always a meek lamb when he was outside but most rowdy and audacious when at home. Snort.

So, both of you sat at the front, admiring the cerulean sky and verdant greens...enjoying the winding blowing in our hair...when we returned the kart ($38 for half an hr!), you were dismayed. Sweetheart, we will definitely come back : )

Well...Tong, you are a fiercely independent boy and yet duper whiny too. You insist on eating on your own shortly after turning one, wanting to be like jie jie. Well, you are getting better at it, sometimes you still make a total mess and jie jie will laugh at you. Ha. Mama finds it really amusing when you pout and sulk when you get scolded. You are a very sensitive boy, when anyone slightly raises her voice, the infant you would start crying, the now you will pout and look very hurt and indignant, as if we have wronged you... you are babbling so much now. You can say some words like, cat, hot, bird, yaya (your affectionate term for the smelly MIT duck), orrr orrr (zzz), milk, mama, papa, ah ma...you love to go out, you love to totter ard, in fact you run quite fast for your age. We talk abt signing u up for running competitions, ha.

21 May - T Sha's class

Xun, you said you liked T Sha's class over the orange building school class..you said you liked to dig for treasures in the sand box...heh...Today, the theme was airplanes. There was a new boy, Gerald, and you have a whale of a time with him, asking him to run with you, compete against you, follow you, play with you...heh...after class, you were at the playground and he said he wanted to call you later and asked if you knew your number. When he walked home, he asked if you wanted to follow him. Laugh...his mummy said kids started really early now...You have so much favour with friends...like Gracia jie jie (aunt lindy's ger) still asks about you from time to time...Nicole (aunt Christine, BP mum's ger), and even that ang moh boy whom you only saw once at Orange building sch....You enjoyed being with your friends so much...I asked if you would like to attend sch and make more friends...you said NO, you liked me to attend classes with you...I have talked to daddy, mayb I will send u when u r 4.5 yrs old? oh...you have grown, you used to stick to me and dared not venture to talk to teachers or friends on your own...now u r pretty much on ur own, only taking glances to ensure I am still ard nowadays...one day...you ll be ready to fly without me, little xun...

Flying in the airplane!

Tong's turn to soar

I am so exhausted after the lesson...brrrr...both of u are too...well...let us see if we can get up early enuf for orange building sch lesson...if not, let us just go Royce gym to play : ) I think attending lessons is way too tiring...grrrr...
