Balmy evening...the kids napped earlier than usual and woke up to a pleasant evening...so we headed to the swimming pool...ooorrrr check out the ravishing queen elsa in her sparkly shimmering Elsa swimming costume...
Good thing tong asked for his shark swimming costume. Papa left the thomas one at ah ma's house. ha...I loved what was written on his butt. 100% cheeky. I totally agreed.
Would you believe it, mama totally forgot that we were supposed to have dinner with Aunt Wen jun at Rail Mall at 7pm. At 7ish, the two of you were still bathing! But we got ready in a jiffy and papa sent us down at record speed...hahaha.
After dinner, we had dessert, as usual. decadent sinful cakes...
Auntie Wenjun spoiled the two of you with gifts..how blessed to have good friends who always thought about us...ahem, more like you kids, when they were holidaying...
Playhouse at Rochestor
So mama read about The Playhouse at Rochestor, we decided to check it out...Not wanting to spend too much on a meal at that cafe, we had prawn noodles and prata, ah, my comfort food, before we took the train to Buona Vista. It was drizzling when we were on the train. The two of you prayed...and GOd answered. It stopped when we reached! Beautiful weather for outdoor play.
jie jie found a spanish friend and had such a good time with her that she chose to stay indoors when tong and I ventured outside.
you said this was your cozy corner...
I loved the whimsical drawings...
You put on a princess costume and remarked that you had more at home..ya...you hardly donned them on nowadays...tsk tsk..
The great outdoors...
Eh...tong did not aim very well...i told papa he was too young to start golf lessons now definitely...papa cherished the grand dream of you two becoming prodigies...ha...
tong liked this water station. 3 ducks in the beginning...somehow you two managed to find a total of 8 in the end.
On a lower deck - a pool for fishing for fish...
since tong did not like to pose for photos, I had to make do with yaya...
who was ever obliging...
tong was ravenous...so ordered a kids' meal of nuggets...erm...abt $10...affordable la...
Jie's friend left and she came to join tong...
"I spy with my little eye"
The two of you came up with this batty game of replacing each other's road sign and were having a standoff now...
Then tried the bicycles.. and rocking horses...
Totally could not bear to leave. Well, we could come back again!
Random stuff
You wrapped bear in the scarf and rocked her to sleep : ) I came up with this nifty idea of tying the scarf to the pram so you could rest your head. you had caught forty winks in it from time to time...i must come up with a better contraption..hmmm...
At Coffee Bean, Hillv2 with papa.
We liked this new mall, almost like those malls in Usa where it was less crowded and there was lots of open space to roam...
We played this game of making faces - angry, sad, happy...
what, you called this an irate expression?
eh...sad?
What, your happy face was almost like the morose one?
Jie did it better...
cheeky baby
oh my, mama looked rotund...gasp
and the vain papa always tried to angle his face to look slim in pictures...
Ok, the computer was really slow today. xun did not nap and went to bed early at 11 plus! WOW, you always slept past 12 midnight, so this was rare. Well, when the two of you started school next year, we definitely needed to adjust our routines, no more late nights. alas alas.
