(oct 14) Of fun at indoor playgrounds and Kara-always-ok

So on one bright and chirpy morning, mama tried to make some banana pancakes for xun and tong. Interesting recipe, only required eggs, bananas and a little baking soda. Xun commented that they tasted more like banana omelettes and preferred the traditional ones. ah....

Then yet on another day, mama tried to jazz up the udon noodles with blueberries so that they made a smiley face. Ha, you two were amused...eh...but mama's culinary skills were really limited and I wished I could whip up nutritious and easy meals for you two all the time..it was one of those guilt issues that I had...

 I saw other mums posting about how they would buy organic stuff, go to lengths for hale treats...and mama fed you outside food and allowed papa to indulge you with tidbits, gummies and nonsense all the time. Eh. but as papa stated, he had grown up with junk food and he was perfectly healthy...oh well...

SO we went to this Polliwogs playground at Suntec. Been a long time since we went to an indoor playground...

It was nice that you two could play on your own now so I could take a breather and drink a cup of tea...

Xun was especially delighted as she found a friend and I hit it off with her mum too so mama had a good time chatting with another adult...ha...

Tong was not very cooperative in letting me take shots as usual...ha never mind, I thought we had enough indoor playground shots...

It was Deepavali and we were on an outing to Sembawang Country Club with mama's sisters and gang for karaoke and mahjong session!

mama adored this H&M piano dress...while it was a tad strange why the fingers were upside down but it was really whimsical and oh so fanciful. Mama should hunt for a piano keyboard dress too. and tong tong had clamoured that he wanted a matching top as well.

Tong was growing up so fast and yes, a really handsome chap he was. 

KTV at Sembawang Country Club

The KTV room was so spacious, it was luxurious. We could sprawl all over the sofa, the kids had lotsa room to play and roll around.

Xun performed several songs, papa even recorded one and put on his facebook.

xun loved er yi zhang and was always nestled in his laps...haah

It was er yi's birthday! The actual day!

The little ones sang along to the birthday song on the ktv system...

The little munchkins went to the indoor playground on the first floor..

We went to the MJ room and was amused by the automatic mJ table. It surely sped up things, for with a button, one set of tiles would surface, while the machine shuffled the other set and laid them ready to be used in the next round.haha...we managed to finish one feng in a short 2 ish hours. 

san yi gushed how glad she was to have us so we could always meet up and have fun on public holidays...mama really appreciates her sisters, it is the best gift wai po has ever given me. and to xun and tong, I wish you would be the best of friends forever...

On a trip to West Coast Plaza...Playful ELves!

We took a double decker bus and xun fell asleep!

I bought this top for tong and thought it was still too big. BUt he saw it and insisted on wearing it. ha he looked like a little rapper with the hoodie...

Recently, tong had blossomed and learnt to be understanding and gracious. He still had mini episodes of grumpiness...but he knew how to wait for his turn, share things with jie jie and allowed jie to play with his stuff...I really liked how xun always asked tong for permission when she wanted to use his things, like stepping on his potty to go on the big potty, xun would ask every single time. 

As usual,the two of you found a friend and had a whale of a time.
