(19 Jan 15 Mon) Hello Kitty Land and Thomas Land

So...we woke up bright and chirpy on the second day. Both kids snuggled with us though they could have the bunk bed, but nope, they wanted to be warm and cozy in the huge king-sized bed. Well, papa could have slept alone in the bunk bed too, but he loved to squeeze with us, I supposed that was where you got your snuggly genes from.

Set off to eat breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. It had a western and an Asian section. So we ate cereal, noodles, meat and all...before long, the kids were clamouring to go to play outside...

The entire place was so children-friendly, there was always some corner for them

Xun decided to build a sky scraper

haha tong was not too pleased with the stranger boy taking his bricks without permission...

xun said this was a really tall building, looked like a sword to me?

Another corner with foamy bricks

Orrr, tong was showing his brotherly side, he loved to pat Jayron's head and would coo at him...tong also claimed to love baby you you yoo. I supposed he was ready to be a big brother...

Oh, to the Hello Kitty Land!

Wow, the wistful studio was deserted! Wooo hooo, the first section was the cookies' section.

Everything was soo cute, we just had to put all the sprinkles jam onto the ready made cookie, shaped like a hello kitty face...orrrrrrr

the kind staff offered to take a group shot for us

The new age boys - growing up to be sensitive and very charming men

oh and the very meterosexual daddies we had here...

ate up the cookies we decorated, oooo cloyingly sweet..

Next section - using the dough and mold to make kitty faces

ha this section was the funniest, the dress up corner.

Xun as melody

tong as batz maru

and jj as hello kitty. ha...loved the funny expression tong had, he always had such grimacing looks like he was tortured into these inane shots...

the photographers took plenty of photos of us throughout the day, ha..eh but they were too costly, besides we had hundreds of photos ourselves..

oh we sawy hello kitty...ororrrrr

Went into Hello Kitty house, a shot of the papa, mama and the sleepy baby

even the ceiling was so beautiful

ooo the living room

wow, I would love a handbag closet too

the dining room

breathtaking kitchen

giggles, the bathtub made gurgling sounds when the kids went in

Went to the indoor playground

We loaded up the ball-spewing machine, Uncle ZH was especially determined to stuff every hole with balls

papa had a race round the place with xun and tong

JJ was busy collecting plastic bags and balls

Then, we went to catch the Melody photo session! The place was nearly empty, what a luxury to have it almost entirely to ourselves!

Look at this, mama caught this when the official photographer's camera's flash went off...ha

The staff was soooo free, they kept gushing and fussing over Jayron didi...

Wanted to go into the Black kitty's cave for the mystery solving game. ha we reached at the perfect timing, just in time for the next session

We had to find some letters form each corner to form a password to release Kitty and Daniel.

Yay, we got the certificate. Xun and tong commented that they did not want to solve the mystery next time as the place was too spooky and dark.

Oh Batz Maru was out but NO kid wanted a picture with him. haha maybe it was his sulky demeanour...

the spinning tea cup joy ride. the kids would giggle when the staff helped to spin their tea cups.

OFF TO THOMAS LAND, or so we called it.

ha caught Pingu.

Pingu was so bored that he came in to play the bowling ball game with the little ones.

Xun caught her Angelina performance. They even taught her some dance moves!

Ha, this time, we saw Bob the builder and Wendy.

Then to see the Barney show, it was like dedicated to the kids as they were the only ones!

Went to Bob's building site and the kids were frantically piling the bricks to make walls. JJ called XUn "Wendy" and xun called him "bob". Ha...what cooperation and imagination.

the papas pitched in to build the walls

After completing one, we asked the kids to knock it down, and Uncle ZH went to the other side to block it!

Oooo it was the meet-and-greet session with Sir Topham Hat. Eh...but we went upstairs and could not locate him at all. Perhaps he had gone off as there was not a single kid in sight? Hahah...later on, we spotted him and dashed over at lightning speed

Our very favourite Thomas, the cheeky one, whom Tong certainly seemed to resemble

Oh, and this time, we finally went to the big kids' playground. It was a lot of climbing and squeezing between rollers, we came to this relaxation haven...if only the massages were FOC, mama would spend the entire day here.

James...

And we managed to go into the very middle of the indoor maze-like playground to take a photo with Emily!

Toby...

Hmmm...tong said this was not Thomas, eh...they all looked THE SAME to mama

Here was evidence of the zany Uncle ZH who pretended that he could not get through the rollers, the kids were so tickled that they were laughing like hyenas, trying means and ways to help him through

I thought the two daddies seemed to be having a whale of time...deprived childhood? Well, papa lamented how ah ma would sit him down to do his assessment books with a cane in her hand while his cousins played boisterously at another part of the house...haha

Another shot of the wacky Uncle ZH...hahahahha

oh, a shot of the funny papa and his big backside

Hmmm, these photos were taken from mama's camera, wondered why the images became sooooo gigantic...totally spoiling the outlook of the entry. ha. We managed to climb into James! Ya, he was not just a decorative feature, you could actually crawl into the train! Good thing papa was with us, he was really skillful and expert at navigating mazes, eh...mama was a total klutz at this.

Announcing the most ardent fan, tong tong, who was there early to catch his favourite character.

AH! finally, we saw Thomas.

Then back to Bob's playground

Taking the drop-from-a-height thrill ride again...eh...the kooky ger mentioned that her "nor nor" felt ticklish...how embarrassing...

Took the helicopter ride and the pilots were really ill-trained, the parents having to endure and suffer through bumpy and turbulent rides..

So that concluded our Thomas Land adventure. Went to Toy r us to walk around...then into the car...Xun muttered, "mama, I m tired, I need a little rest." In his futile attempt to resist sleeping, tong whimpered, "I am NOT going to...." and fell into a deep deep slumber...

haha, we drove to a mall and ate dinner together and shopped for a little while. Had a minor hiccup on the route back, papa's gps directed us to the Woodlands checkpoint instead and we were help up in a line where the police was conducting 100% spot check on all the vehicles. By the time we cleared the customs, JJ was already nearing home!

heh...tried to blog...to my utter dismay, what the computer died on me! Checked both the desktop screens, concluded it was the CPU...alas

Uncle ZH jested that this would make a nice desktop wallpaper...

Taking a photo of the certificate before we recycled it...you two kids would love to hoard every piece of paper, drawing, craft if you could..haha..mama came up with this sneaky idea of saying that we should recycle them so they could be made into new good stuff...so...nowadays, you two could not wait to recycle things...ha, how environmentally friendly we were!

Looking forward to the next Malaysia trip with JJ, next time we would have the triplets too! What joy it was to have cousins to play with.
