So on eve of New year's eve, we decided to stay at home to play in the day. Xun told me that she preferred playing with me at home rather than going to indoor playgrounds. She said that when we went to indoor playgrounds, I did not play with her. So...I supposed...there you had it, kids craved for our company above toys, objects, gadgets, whats not...
so we played in the playroom for one hour plus...then mama decided to clean out the school's notes in the storage cupboards and tong espied the car set that I had stowed away for ages, and managed to deter him by saying it was for others all these while...today, he persisted...so we took it out and assembled it. cool or what.
We had a nap and mama brought them to Hometeam NS @ Bukit Batok as I wanted to ink trail my worksheets for tomorrow's lessons. The lessons were brought forward to 11 and 1 on eve so i would not have time to go BB to prep worksheets prior to going Westgate.
After picking up the worksheets, we went to the water playground! it was free for kids below 5. Ah, but mama had to pay $3 even though I was not swimming.
Was a tad cold, the children frolicked while mama frantically ink trailed.
Too chilly for tong who did not take kindly to the frigid waters...
Xun found this fascinating as she would not get wet under this water umbrella shield! much like the protective shield Jesus gave us.
Did not played for too long (40 min?) as tong whinged about the cold...changed out and took photos with these cutouts...
and the cheeky ones decided to make two headed super heros to save Singapore...
We went to the cheap Italian restaurant for pasta dinner...well, not very expensive, came up to $20 for 3 of us...mama was very careless and made the kids make multiple trips back to the school so I could photocopy all that I needed. Then, we lost tong tong's die cast Thomas train too (the oldest one he got from the Thomas shark set)...well...he was not too affected by it as he still got two newer shinier ones from the Dino and Paint sets...alas...
Then we went to West Mall to order a THomas cake for tong tong from Polar. $80 for frozen cake from Bengawan Solo, $37.50 for Thomas cake from Polar. Ha...well it would be cakes they liked and quite affordable too.
Tata, that was all for the eve of New Year's Eve.
