We were utterly blessed. Uncle XS gifted us with tickets to the Fun Fest, and we invited Aunt Shani to come with us!
Loitering at Beach Station for Uncle XS to come
of course, we took photos with those funny exhibits
it was a blistering day...ahhhh felt the sun beating down on us...I felt I was being fried
well, the ground was so blistering
ha jie in the middle of the foam pool
even their showers were so pretty!
such a pretty sight...belied the fact that we were slowly being cooked by the merciless sun
they had this stupendous slide... too bad it was out of bounds to the kids as you had to be 1.2m to play on it
but there were enough things to entertain them...
like this wrecking ball
at the climbing wall
tong was sliding and bouncing
they caught a huge drifting foam and were exhilarated
time to cool down
thought that they would not allow the smaller kids to go on this slide inflatable...but they let them through, all 3 of them
even tong ventured up
boy oh boy...my daring tong
he figured out a safe way to come down!
did not know that jie would be so valiant that she would choose the more challenging route
tong found another smaller scale cooling area...he named it the car wash hahaha
wow, did not know that there was another area... ok time to check that out
the maze
then snow sprayed from a foam canon
it was snowing
an obstacle course
they went for a few times
then tried the horizontal slide...
they went on it multiples times
then xun and tong were in a gladiator fight... xun won! ha eh it could be because the pedestal that Matthew was on was wobbly
there was a nerf gun shootout area
then we headed to thte beach to chill
jun had a whale of a time too...sensorial experience again
he was growing up so finely...
jie dug a moat
it started raining cats and dogs so we took the tram out and had dinner at the Food Republic in Vivocity
the sky cleared and we took the cable car...wooooo free tickets from uncle xs
Matthew was afraid of heights but we persuaded him to try it... well he had no choice....we sweetened the deal by buying lots of snacks to have a picnic in the cable car
we also took the smaller cable car on the sentosa line
we even saw fireworks!
ah gong came to fetch us, so sweet of him. it was a long tiring day, of sun, sand, sea...
sweet dreams, babies...
