(31st May 16 Tues) Kidsstop

nobody dated us on the second day of the first week of the June hols...so we ventured to Kidsstop as mama suddenly recalled that we had a membership there so we needed not a single cent for entrance fee! well, it was quote a worthwhile deal, we paid $70 for a family, we had so far already clocked $50. we just needed to go there once more during the hols and we would have reaped the value.

despite having been here a few times, I never went to the mezzanine level with the kids. I brought jun up with me this time. Oh, I did not know that there was a musical level...like this drum trampoline, the tykes' favourite

xylophone

beanbags under the sound dish

we were supposed to arrange the pipes and form sound pipes...not too good at such stuff

a humongous keyboard

oh more colourful sound pipes

more xylophones

they had added this new interactive wall which we first saw at the Art Science Museum. They coloured marine creatures on paper, once scanned, the 2D pictures became 3D ones. Amazing, if you asked me.

tong coloured a shark

jie had a nemo fish...we could not wait for the Dory movie. Papa's colleague gifted him with 4 tickets for a sunday show at Lido Cinema. What a blessing!

went to the other side where they had these simulation screens...

so we were chased by dinosaurs, then in a car circuit race

tong and xun put on zany goggles and pretended to be swimming in the ocean

then it was SHOW TIME

soon, it was 5 plus and mama thought we had better leave earlier to catch the emptier buses.

caught a cute snowman enroute to the bus stop

totally exhausted. Noticed the scowl on jie's face? It took a long time to extract the reason from her...so...turned out that the pair had a squabble earlier. Jie was correcting tong on some matter and he snapped and yelled in retaliation. It riled jie, she loathed being shouted at..

and tong..on the other hand, disliked being corrected...arghh...

he asked for a photo and pretended to be asleep. Well, he did snooze off later...and mama had to pluck two sleeping grumpy babies off the bus later on...sometimes...I wondered...why did I go to such lengths to bring the two of you out on adventures..would have been easier just chilling at home...

but I supposed...this was what childhood memories were made of...of sunshine and laughter...of experiences and exploration...of seeking out the unknown...

so...yeah...let us paint the town red together.
