Summary of Day 3: National Science and Technology Museum
It was a mammoth building. There were game stations, like the laser quest (Xun and Tong came out speedily upon seeing some scary glow-in-the-dark drawings in the dark room), archery, racing cars...
Dinner at Lan's house. It was such a sumptuous spread...oh my
Lan papa cooked such mouth-watering dishes. He even did a taiwanese take on our famous salted egg and black pepper crabs!
They bought popcorn chicken for the kids and they had their meal at the low table. We had yummy bubble tea too....oh oh oh....my favourite...
Ruifeng Night market. It was SO crowded, there was a sea of people, it was unbelievable. The kids had fun at the game stalls and won lots of prizes. They offered such attractive prizes and one was guaranteed a prize no matter the score one got!

More photos:
Only Uncle Stephen could go on this towering, snaking slide. ha. Xun was really disappointed as she was really looking forward to taking this slide.
We did not have photos of the exhibits, but there were really interesting things to see. There was even an area which was designed to be an arcade whereby children learnt knowledge about contagious illnesses by playing games!
Even watched a 3D show!
One could definitely spend the whole day at the museum!
The honey beer was soooooo tasty and unique. We even tried the potent gaoliang wine. oooo
Lan papa cooked these giant prawns for us. They were so sweet and fresh. Oh my. Aromatic too.
I brought all these home! Products from Min mama's farm. They were amazingly sweet. We did not have a picture of this gargantuan bag of sweet potato chips that lan mama bought for us. The kids loved them so much. Papa lugged it all the way back to Singapore, put it at his office and it was polished off in 2 days. I did not even get to taste them. Dismayed.
The kids took this photo for us!
Wow, my heart swelled with love and joy when i looked at this photo. What delight to have family in a distant land...Such hospitality displayed by Lan and his family...Could not believe they actually hosted soooo many of us...we had such an awesome time chatting over the delicious food. It was an amazing night.
