Summary of Day 6: Jingyuan Farm and Taroko Park
We had a funny start. The cabs dropped us at different spots, so we waited for one another for quite awhile before we finally gathered.
One particular piglet was extremely clever (or perhaps he was the youngest and smallest), so he would squeeze through the railings and ask to be fed!
I thought the flamingoes were statues! I was astounded when they moved, haha.

More photos:
Aunt Karen was dressed like a flamingo!
We did not expect jie to be so serious a
Went back to Taroko Park as the farm was pretty small and we ran out of things to do after a couple of hours. The restaurant's food was costly and it was not air-conditioned anyway.
Shopped and used the receipts to exchange for free rides on the carousel. What a way to end the trip.
The boys took the spinning teacup ride, it caused Eden to feel nauseated after a while. Poor boy.

Well, we parted ways on day 7 as we left the airport past midnight. Mama suddenly recalled that we should have celebrated little jun's birthday in Taiwan. Pangs of regret hit me...and I arranged an impromptu lunch at Mac (Bukit Batok). It was serendipitous that Tong had rehearsal and thus ended school early on that day. If not, we would not be able to gather everyone for lunch at 230pm.
Yeah, happy meals made us happy. Eh, they were famished after a tedious day at school...so they polished off the food fast and furiously...and ate quite a lot.
Biaoshen bought the special "cake" for Jun.
My heart just melted when I saw how tong looked at Jun so lovingly.
We asked Jun to make a birthday wish and he squeezed his eyes shut tightly...ha..so cute...
he no longer blew raspberries when we asked him to blow flames out or to cool hot food down...that was really endearing and comical... our little jun had grown up...sniff sniff...into an angsty teenager...haha...we were at tong's concert that day, he flopped himself on the floor, under the chair, and stayed stationery there for a long while...and suddenly whimpered and bawled...what a moody boy...then a switch seemed to have been flipped on...or something in him snapped, he would do zany things like crashing into his siblings on purpose and laughing evilly....oh what happened to our little cherubic, placid angel?
Ah, noticed the matching wear? Tong and Jun were the first ones to get it when we were in Taiwan. It was 100 twd. Eden spotted it in another H&M and commented that he also wanted it so he could wear it with Jun. He truly adored the little one.
JJ heard it and wanted to do the same too, he being born in the year of Tiger. Ha...so Jay and JJ were the next ones to own a tiger tee. Biaogu could not find the right fit for the boys in Taiwan and went to JEM's H&M to search. They were sold there, at only S$8.90 too. We did not expect them to be so affordable here. ha...so...what a really cute photo...
What a very memorable birthday celebration.
We went to the library and had froyo...
the little imp was all messy...
He even got to enjoy the delicious treat/present from the triplets...what a smashing way to end the day...May little jun see good days and may God's mercy and goodness hunt him down all the days of his life...

A thoroughly enjoyable and crazy trip...
To conclude, I asked the kids what their favourite part of the trip was:
Xun - the Dark Ride at Eda World
Tong - said it was playing Xbox, the laser quest, then changed his mind to the cycling on the island...he had such fun and thought everything was so enjoyable
JJ - rides at Eda World
Jay - cycling on Cijin
Gayle - Cycling on Cijin
Eden - who said X box at first and changed to cycling on Cijin
Max - Night market stalls
Kaysen - spinning in the carousel cup, he enjoyed every bit of the trip...
Well, the kids missed one another...Kaysen asked where Isaac and JJ stayed and asked to meet up more often....Jayron wanted to go back to the hotel rooms and not go home...
I missed hanging out with the cousins too...i felt so sentimental and blue on the first day back in Singapore...
What a blessing to have such a close-knitted extended family....well, we had the next trip thought out already. It would be the Sembcorp chalet on Bintan! Wooo hooo. Till next trip!
