(Feb 19) Random happenings in February

Haha, I did not know what was this thing about funny apps and youngsters...Xiaoshen took these hilarious photos of the kids...

So Xiaoshu and Xiaoshen brought the kids out to feast and buy toys from Toy r us. Ya...2018 Christmas presents and 2019 birthday presents for all three of them. They had a budget of $50 from the couple and $50 from Ah Ma. well...the scrooges did not spend the entire sum obviously and pocketed the difference!  

 

 

I was glad that they were prudent with money and they knew the concept of saving up for other future purchases. Papa and Mama hoped that you three would be good stewards of money!

Came across this meme and thought it was very apt in teaching the children about taking things for granted. It was my wish to have independent, hardworking children who would be useful and compassionate citizens. The mantra in our house: We are warriors, not whiners. Another common maxim we quoted: Privileges come with responsibilities.

 

 

Oooo Macdonalds was always introducing new interesting ice cream flavours...you lucky pigs, always got to pig out on desserts...

Took a 4D picture of mei mei. She was cheeky, her hands were always near her face so we could not ever have a clear look of how she looked like. In hindsight, she did really look chubby like this!

 

The bag to the hospital had been packed! All ready to give birth to Mei mei anytime.

 

 

ON a lazy weekday, Jun was playing and mama was resting...heh I did not know FB had a selfie option...ah...it smoothed out all the flaws and...woah I looked amazing here. ha. well...I could not find the function anymore now. heh...

 

Just waiting for mei mei to come and change our lives forever...
