Ha, the final birthday celebration we had as a family of 5 before mei mei popped out. Tong chose the "Jack Jack" picture. Jack Jack was as cute and erratic as Jun.
Our dapper little prince. He charmed the young and old, he would go to the pond to feed the turtles with the young jie jies, and ask the admin lady Nicole Jie jie to carry and sit with him.
Nope, he was just pretending to be asleep.
Two flights each. Later on, their instructor suggested getting the 10 flights promo at the discounted price and letting the 5 kids share the package. This made the additional 2 flights more affordable so we took it up! Ha what a shrewd businessman he was.
Out of jest, I asked if we could get additional perks since it was their birthday and we bought so many flights. He initially promised to give Tong a free photo as it was just a day after Tong's birthday (we had to wait till he turned 7 before he was allowed to take the flight). After talking to his boss, all the kids were given ONE FREE photo. Wow, what a blessing. Ha, it was good to be a shameless AUNTIE who asked for freebies all the time.
Mama joined a FB contest organized by Serene Centre. It was really a stroke of luck that I won a $100 voucher from the shopping centre. I met up with Uncle Ivan for lunch and was waiting for Papa to pick me up. I was at Cluny Court but papa said it was easier to turn into Serene Centre. So there I was outside Mac, with nothing to do, then I saw the contest on the advertising panel. It was to identify three shops, shared it on FB and like the FB page. There were only three other participants, one of whom got the answers wrong. Ha, it was just a few days to the end of the contest. Hurray! I won it. So we went to the ice cream parlour with the triplets (a pity the rest were busy). It was such a scrumptious treat.
It was such a blessing to have a close-knitted extended family.
We even had time to go to Botanic Gardens. The boisterous children rolled down the grassy slope, climbed an ancient looking tree and chased some hapless hens and chickens around. Biaogu even uploaded a hilarious video of the 5 big ones tumbling down the slope and Jun dashing down.
We tried to arrange for a second date but the triplets were busy. So Tong and I went on a Thursday when Jie went for her hockey training and we packed 3 tubs of ice cream. Even had to top up money coz the boys insisted on having a flavor each and I promised Jie I would buy the chocolate flavor for her. Alas, imagine having 4 kids and 4 different requests!
Exploring the neighbourhood
Ha, the kids were trying out the virtual reality games...Jie looked like a space bot.
Matching unicorn wear in anticipation of the arrival of Mei mei, our unicorn princess
Mama's sweetheart.
