Got Jun's book out way before his birthday! WOOO HOOOO
Had a great time collaborating with the illustrator in Azerbaijan once again. This time, her price has gone up steeply! From 12usd/hr to 25usd/hr. Reached out to her privately and she agreed on a lump sum payment...gosh, but it turned out to be almost S$3k too. The cost of printing has gone up too...all in all, I have sold enough books to almost cover the total cost, a shortfall of a couple of hundreds, phew...
Happy birthday, darling Jun!
Got their favourite playmates to come over to play
The little ones having fun at Ah Gong's house
Hello, Dylan!

Hello, Family! Saw this phrase in one of the books I was reading and thought it was cute. Taken to use this whenever I come home from work and you all quite like it...
Walk walk walk
Ah... blue skies
Hello, Family!
Jie looks like she has really long legs eh?
Ah, the lazy Mei did not want to walk...
Spotted this motorbike with a sidecar. Cool eh? Would be fun as a wedding carriage. Idea for Tong?
Playing outdoors on a rainy day...
I used to play along the corridor with my sister on rainy days. We would sail paper boats down the drain...ah...memories
Lousy shots taken by Papa
Jie did us proud again this year. Top in English. Top in Science. Class Achievement Award (i.e. top 3 in the class). Learn for life Award (whatever that means). She also got the Edusave Scholarship and EAGLES awards from MOE. Ah Ma gave her $100. 4 kor po gave her $50. She earned quite a bit of money simply by being good at what she's been gifted with - brains! How lovely. But she truly works hard. She started revising for the year-end exams in June and she is already revising for PSLE when we should be enjoying ourselves and partying since it is the Dec hols.
Went to USS with our Singapore Rediscover Vouchers
Hello, cutie pie.
Random photo for a testimonial for her Chinese T.
Here's one with the filter effect.

To the science centre with SRV again
We always loved the funny mirrors...
Got to visit Butterfly Park finally since it was sold as a bundle with the main ticket. Costly at $10 on its own for an adult and totally not worth it as it was a rather small place. Mei did not enjoy herself.
This was a fun tinkering lab. Got to make paper spinners and launch them at the blower.
At the surreal futuristic exhibits...they say that we are heading to a metaverse...you know where you could experience everything ONLINE. That day, I read that the Jap scientists have invented a tablet which can allow you to choose a flavour and the tablet has some jets that can spray some chemicals onto the screen and you get to taste the flavour by licking the screen...gosh...
Saw the original Pusheen cat in the store. We bought a fake cute one on Shopee.
At Westgate
The daring Mei on the virtual ride
A mini bowling alley for kids!
Even Mei had her own lane. Ha, we "booked" the entire place.
Home Sweet Home.
New birthday calendar! Jie did it. She is taking over the baton of the host for social stuff for papa's side.
Dad used the drone to take this photo! Cool or wad.
Well...the story of these toilet rolls...Ma's friends came to visit and one asked what she should bring. In jest, I said toilet paper and they did arrive in the afternoon. LOL. well...they were indeed very useful and whenever I reloaded a new roll, I got reminded of my friend's cheekiness. I think I would tell all visitors to bring TOILET ROLLS in future.
Eve of Christmas..blogging alone while the kids played in the room and Daddy snoozed (what else would he be doing)...and...It IS CHRISTMAS NOW! Hello, Christmas.
