The Chronicles of the Tay Family: What? December already?

I do not know about you, but this year seems to have flown by in a flash. Like December? Whatever has happened to the entire year?

Anyway, it has been some time since I last updated the blog. I know....I am getting tardier and tardier at updating the blog...life has been busy. Besides taking care of the four of you, plus Daddy who is like another big baby, work with the crazy hybrid teaching arrangement, keeping the house spick and span, upkeeping my looks, and of course, spending lots of time online shopping to destress...and reading educational books...

The big baby in the house who loves bubble tea and everything sweet

the bossy baby in the house. everyone loves her to bits. That day, erjie texted tong "Good job, Tong Tong" to commend him for his good results. Mei also repeated "Good job, Tong Tong". Tong asked her, "What do you call me, Mei Mei?" She said, "I call you Gor Gor." After awhile, she turned to Jie and said, "I called him Tong Tong." She is really a rascal.

Another day, we were talking about how we could bless the people in the neighbourhood after reading the daily devotional. We talked about giving chocolates (Jie), money (Jun) and Mei piped up, "Toys!" haha. Well, she is a most strong-willed girl. Even Daddy cant make her yield to his requests sometimes.

Xun saw that I was blogging and came to look. She said I had these photos in an earlier post. I have stopped tracking. It is TOO much work.

We often find her sleeping at funny places. She also sleeps at funny times, like 2 or 3 am when the rest are fast asleep. This has gone on for a year and is not funny anymore.

sometimes Gor would come out to sleep with her. It seems like Tong found the living room a really nice place to fall asleep. Luckily, I am a night owl by nature and I don't have to wake up early in the morning. I think I would totally die if I had to do that.

Filters do WONDERS. but papa always asks if I would like to look good on photos or look good in person. Well...I would reply, you know, many of your friends would not get to meet me in person...

I guess, I could use filters...or just not take photos.

Every visitor would ask why we need three TVs..and I would launch into my rambling about how one is for the big kids, one is for the small kids and one is for the adults who often behave like kids

and I would add with disdain that I hardly watch TV...

She has been saying that she does not want to attend gym classes...there was once when she refused to participate...then there was once when she was still whining when we were just outside the centre but she sprinted inside when she saw T Nana (yes, he is a male) and behaved like the model student throughout the lesson...
