(5 Aug 13) Hello Kitty Town and Little Big Club

After a good night's sleep (we slept rather early and only woke up at 10pm! Ah ma and ah gong had to wait patiently for the lazy ones to wake up, they were so exhausted after a thrilling day at LEGOLAND.), we got ready to hit Hello Kitty Town and Little Big Club.

Sunglasses? Checked. (Daddy felt amused by Xun's usage of the word "check" to indicate a tick, he thought it sounded so british and totally un-singaporean.

Xun helped us take a photo, in lovey matching pink.
Ah! Hello Kitty Town. Mum bought cheaper tickets from JA travel, S$40 for adults instead of S$45. Eh...but the silly me also paid the same price for xun's child ticket, should have bought it at the venue instead (85 RM), eh but I did not know if the queue would be long and if it would be much hassle..hahah...the place was pretty crowded for a Monday...well, people came by tour buses, could be because it was near the long holiday weekend and people took vacation leave...oh well...

First ride - the spinning tea cups. I never fancied this ride...wooooo...woozy...

Pavilion for photo-taking. Everything here was saccharine sweet.

Went into Hello Kitty's home...

Living room...

Kitchen...

ooo walk in closet...

Ah, the dressing table caught your attention...
It was not much fun to Xun. We went to this maze and had to find clues to find out who had kidnapped Daniel and Hello Kitty. You seemed to be alright with it but you stated you did not like it and would not want to go in again as it was very dark. Tong and you did not like dark places...ooo

You were fast and spotted one of the differences in two similar rooms - one of the red bows had turned black!

Got to use this lamp as our clue finder... in the end you got a certificate. heh, it was nothing fantastic...heh..and we queued up 15 min for it...on separate note, that day we were in the cab and you mentioned that things were so boring. Hmmm...I asked who taught you the word "boring". I did not know if I had ever used that with you before...I did not think so, so where did you pick that from? haha...I never thought that the word would creep into your vocabulary soooo soon...

Hello Kitty performance. Both of you adored performances... you could go on watching for a long while...

Nothing much in Hello Kitty Land to explore. There was a playground but parents could not enter and you did not want to go in alone with TOng. There was a room for activities but the queues were sooo windingly long so we decided not to wait and headed to Little Big Club. I did not think it would be worthwhile visiting this again.

Little Big Club had many characters you saw on TV, like barney, Angelina the ballerina and Tong's fave Thomas the train!

At the play area. Tong was excited to be running up the ramp, down the slide, checking out the beanbags...parents were not allowed to follow but this had a rather open concept so the two of you were at ease to explore it on your own.

Oh, Thomas' performance! It was a dance and sing along session. The performer came to ask Xun to go up to dance but Xun refused!

Tong was so captivated by it that he kept whining and wanted to stay to watch the cartoons that were screened after the performance ended. He had officially become a TV addict like his jie jie. He loved to watch Thomas on the DVD player while jie jie watched Nick junior on TV. well...you know, I did not blame you two for getting addicted...such technology was so gratifying and addictive...just asked daddy who loved to surf on his FB and other trivial stuff on his hp and mummy who loved to shop on Taobao...so...yeh I could not blame you two...we ought to embark on the handsfree revolution together. Disconnect to CONNECT!

Ah, a stage at the dancing school for Angelina!

Could borrow the tutu, hairband and wand.

We even caught the mascot and could take a photo with her!

Next to Bob the builder's construction site.

It was another playground area with climbing structures, slides and photograph spots. Quite a fun area. There was a place where children could use the foam structures to build a wall...hmmmm I wondered why I did not take any more photos...

Off to 4th level where the joy rides were. We took Thomas the train first!

We went on to the Bertie the bus ride...alas, no photo! Then to the Harold the plane ride...

And a windmill ride...

Brrrr...time to go off...having explored the entire place and it was almost 5pm (we had a late breakfast and spent quite some time at the super market for grocery shopping. Yeh...some stuff were really cheaper in Malaysia, like certain food products, clothes and beauty stuff...)

Taking a photo with your favourite character before leaving...

Tong went to pose at his favourite character without any prompting hahahha....

On the next day, Xun, you mentioned that you would like to go back to LEGOLAND again. Not Hello Kitty town as it was dark...heh...well, I supposed we would definitely make a trip again. It was so draining just going on a 2-day trip. You asked earnestly on the second day if we could go home (you always missed home and loved your own bed. Ah...daddy had been trying to convince you that you and tong needed to move out to your own room, to which you vehemently refused...)...I loved our own bed and house too. It was really a great feeling to say, "Home sweet home!". Long weekend ahead, we would meet up with friends and have family gatherings! What a joyous time...love you two and papa to bits.
