(Oct 14) Family photoshoot

A balmy morning! Exactly what we had been praying and claiming for days. It was the day of the photoshoot with mama's ex colleague's wife, Michelle. Named Awesome Memories, after their initials, Alvin and Michelle, we were all set forth and ready to capture some awesome memories.

The planning stage was fun...we talked about bringing lotsa balloons, matching clothes...xun wanted to bring all her soft toys...xun was pining for it to come...eh...tong wanted all his ducks...on this very unusual day, we allowed him to bring out all his 3 smelly ducks...

who were as smelly as the stinky pong that tongtong's poop produced...hahahah...tong was very sensitive about smells...he always made a gagging voice and demanded mama to spray perfume in the toilet when he did his big business...that queer boy...

So we took papa's car with uncle alvin and aunt mich while papa rode the trishaw to East Coast Park..

Ah, a bummer, the scenic spots were taken up by tents!!! Never mind, we would make do! nothing fazed the Tay family and AM (Awesome Memories).

Catch the dedicated photographers in action.

Xun was ever ready and obliging, making poses, twirling and running about...while tong adamantly declined the invitation to play along...and was on the pavement with his toy trains...

So Uncle Alvin had to sprawl across the grass to capture some candid shots.

They were really a great team. Uncle Alvin still had a full time job and helped out on weekends or took leave to be with his wife. Aunt Michelle quitted her job to pursue her passion...I wish the two of you would be able to do things that make you happy...and hopefully make lotsa money tooo, wahahah

This was xun's favourite spot, she really enjoyed sitting by the serene lake with her balloon...

In fact, there was a little bit of upset, xun was all teary eyed and agitated because taking photographs was not all fun and exciting as she thought it to be...she was especially bothered by the running shots (actually, it was peculiar, she loved to race with tong tong...mama still did not fathom what gnawed at her that day...) but we talked about it, assured her that she could do the activities that she liked instead...

Look at our colourful trishaw filled with balloons and softtoys...

while whiling the time away, mama got the boys to pose too

I loved this photo in which we asked tong to look up so i could see his face and he literally looked up to the sky...not too sure if he was trying to be cheeky or he was totally following instructions dutifully...he had that awkward comical smile on his face when papa smooched him, it was really tickling

Ah, all our soft toys..eh...some of the soft toys which we chose to bring for the photoshoot...oh and in xun's exuberance to leave the house, she actually forgot to bring bear bear...orrrr

Was so busy moving things here and there, going to different spots, posing, playing, persuading, coaxing, brrrrrr....it was a blur of 3 plus hours...the kids were exhausted and papa and mama were ready to throw in the towel.

When mama reached home, I attempted to edit one of the photos with the two photographers as a token of appreciation to them...hahaha

the above was mama's effort and the below of Aunt Michelle's efforts...

orrr, mama thought her photo was done quite nicely..but it paled in comparison to the whimsical idyllic feel done by the professionals...

Would update the photos when we got them, very eager to see the end product and we would display on the empty wall outside the study room...it would be...so awesome...
