(10 th Aug 15 Mon) KTV at Junction 10 and celebrating papa and waigong's birthdays

And so on the last day of the long weekend, we went to Teo Heng KTV at Junction 10. The rates were really low, only at $12 per hour and we could bring in our own food.

ha the kids had such fun with er yi zhang and san yi zhang. It was good that xun had such loving uncles so she would never need to hanker for love from the wrong men in the wrong places

ha...san yi used her samsung phone, which had that facial skin enhancing function too like papa's phone

the customary family shots... papa wore pink to match mama, that sticky fellow

xun insisted on being included in san yi's photo, not that san yi would mind, san yi loved xun to bits

you you was growing up so fast, he would turn 2 SOON! he was all smiles and laughter nowadays

xun and tong were cavorting all the time, running here and there, shouting with the microphones at each other, worming up to er yi zhang for company, snacking like there was no tomorrow, singing children's songs, especially "Let it go" multiple times

You you was feasting on snacks happily, ha er yi seldom gave him snacks, so he was reallLLLLLY elated to be munching on the yummy treats and kept yelling "ah MUM" which meant he wanted to eat more.

After KTV, we went to Wai po's house to have steamboat lunch cum dinner. ha...and we celebrated the birthdays of two very important men in mama's life. My papa, without whom, there would not be Me. and your darling papa, without whom, there would not be YOU.

We were supposed to fetch papa to the airport for his work trip to India. Alas, his boss wanted to meet him early for a discussion, so we reckoned it was silly to fetch him there and come back so soon after, so papa went off alone, after many rounds of kissing from the almost tearing kids, especially little xun xun who was always attached to her precious papa.

er yi and san yi went off as san yi was really tired from the long weekend and wanted to go home early to rest. It was true, there is not better friend than a sister...CHEERS to siblings.

Mama's insurance friend, Uncle Jams was coming over at night to review wai po and wai gong's policies, and er yi and san yi had left...so we went to the pasar malam. Ah, the kids begged for candy floss...i liked how you negotiated. Tong asked jie if they could buy the blue one since they bought the pink one jie liked the previous time. Jie agreed, then tong further suggested they could buy the purple one too since both of them liked purple if the blue one ran out

and they found a tub of colourful floss - pink, purple, blue, the perfect combination. It costed more tho, $2!

Then they asked to play games, which I replied there might not be any but they said they were probably at the end of the line of stalls. True enough...we saw them at the end of the line...

spent a total of $21 to get a penguin balloon (like the one Sid the Science kid had, the type which bounced up whenever you knocked it) to tong's delight as he was very into animals especially penguins now and an imitation LEGO friends set which jie claimed she had ALWAYS wanted. aiyo, this was so much more expensive than the stalls in taiwan!

heh, an update on the Singa lions, we managed to collect all 15!

papa's friends chipped in to complete the set for xun xun, orrr how blessed. now papa was hoping to get another set of army-navy-airforce and the original singa to display at work.

Oh oh oh...the long weekend had ended. finally, back to normal life from tomorrow!
