(Jan 16) Joyful January

It was a slightly drizzly night when we went to Chinatown. Mama drove Rocket 2 to papa's office at Hill street to meet him (yay! mama drove all the way to town, the two kids fell aslp and jun was playing alone quietly, phew). jie had a slight fever but we braved the drizzle and went to the festive streets and bought goodies and jellies.

Jie had to attend ballet lessons on both Sat and Sun now as she would be taking her ballet exam in March. Mama was just thinking how hectic life would be when she had to juggle three kids' schedules and you all probably would be doing different things at various timings...gosh...

Had a mini carnival outside City Sq Mall, the bouncy castle was fantastic.
The slide was tall and slippery.

Look at the exuberant grin on jie's face

as usual, the carousel

xun had tremendous fun in the hamster wheel. it was utmost tiring to be running in it. Tong was afraid so he did not go onto it after all.

tong was playing with his truck the other day and claimed he worked for Sempcorb

jun could wear the 3 month old rompers! I loved all these graffiti rompers with funny memes.

each was selling for $16.90 in one shop at City Sq Mall but mama found really good deals on taobao, ha, I was a bargain hunter.

we tried various backgrounds to see which one was the most flattering

eh too flowery

hmmm still too bright and colourful

this was the sweetest shot, of three tightly knitted siblings

went to Lot 1 and saw this massive display, of couse, Xun must take a photograph

we went to the Jurong East Library and saw these at Jcube

even Singa was all ready for Chinese New Year

at Jcube - they had an imitation of the Love Bridge in Paris, ha

yup, we played with this so we could post our photo on the social wall

jie had several loose teeth and this one dropped soon after this photo was taken.

She kept all her baby teeth (with the exception of the first one which was thrown into the bin).

tong asked for a photo too

bedsheets were changed, all ready for the new year...except, a few days later, our bedsheet was stained with blood and spitted out milk

so the big ones liked to play with tim's clothing...here was tong with tim's bunny hat, spotting a somber look

tim was growing up so finely, mama was delighted as his sole food was mama's breast milk and it gave me great satisfaction that the milk was helping him grow so well

well, this boy would be turning 4 in a few days' time...this was a rough patch as you were going through a whiny, demanding and tempestuous period and you wanted everything to be done your way and everybody to do your bidding. We had had some epic fights, with mama wanting to drag you out of the house...sigh...crossing fingers that the Lord watches over you and teaches you and writes His laws on your heart.
