(122 May 16 Sun) Lunch at Merson's

Godbro always remarked that he wanted to invite us to his strata landed house for a gathering...but years had come and gone and it did not materialize. Recently, he sent his car to dad's workshop, so he called Mum to finalise a date.

ha and here we were in the $3.5m house... mei weighed a hefty 5.4 kg at two months, at 97% , while 7 month jun weighed only 7.5 kg at 3 percentile. sigh.

well papa said together they made 100%! The optimistic ,u, felt it was divine intervention as jun had to be carried all the time. imagined if he were any bigger...so perhaps he would grow tall n lanky, big and strong once he started walking and did not like being carried so much.

yishan was 7 and xun 6

ha happy family of 5

they prepared such an abundance of food, it could have easily fed another 20 people...

you could eat at the patio...they even had a tea set there

the food was scrumptious

godbro was delightedly clicking away, he had a hard disk of photos and videos for each girl, interesting!

our precious tim tim

mama's godbro took some rather unflattering photos...ha

mei was a big baby girl, she could wear this romper meant for 3 month-old

uncle alston was grilled by godbro...haha

wai po got to know god bro as he was her sales agent for selling the old flat at Jurong East. how...peculiar that they should have such affinity for each other that she adopted him as her godson...

the pool was just a stone's throw away from the house, literally.

well, er yi zhang was on daddy duty, he watched all the kids in the pool

the kids had a blast...nothing beat frolicking together in the cool water under the sweltering sun

and meanwhile, the young couple sought refuge from the heat in the entertainment room which boasted a huge tv screen, game console, ktv system...the sort that papa loved

after swimming, everyone came back for second servings!

just lounging in the living room, listening to oldies songs, chatting about life.

savouring a steaming cup of coffee...

and a few hours flew by! time for the grand finale shots. wai po wai gong with all the grandkids

assembling for a group photo

mission accomplished! We had a whale of a time...

mama went to church with jie and saw this yummy pretty candy themed balloon sculpture. it was a girls = jun date... could not recall why the boys skipped church...ha..

another fantastic day!
