a bright blue morning, two boys in blue...snuggling like peas in a pod
happy mother's day, mama
brought jie to church
jun's first splash!
I was growing so finely, I had upgraded to size 6-9 months.
hello hello, who called?
Aunt Johanna bought earrings for Xun, this was her favourite - the rainbows
jie asked to wear the same skirt as mama. woah, mama was at her thinnest now after delivery of the third child...abt 47.5 kg. my claim to achievement was remaining svelte and smoking hot as papa out it though I was a mum of 3. what was the zany world's obsession with thinness about?
eh...never knew he could wear the cotton on shorts with his polo ralph top. made him look like a kooky bumblebee
and jie was ethereal looking like a fairy in pristine white
what was up with that grim look?
the bumblebee camouflaging with the slide
we checked out the newly renovated water play at IMM but could not play as we did not bring the swimming suits. oh...you might ask, why were the kids not at sch? haha...coz jie had cough and perhaps the fever caused rashes to break out, she was sheepish and did not want her classmates to see
so we went to the Jurong East Library to while the time away...and shopped at IMM
Tuesday at the Singapore Art Museum
yeah, we never liked to be cooped up at home. tong would ask for the TV, darn, and the kids got crabby and tempers would flare..
so mum found out that they were having the kids' special at 8 Queen St...so off we scooted
the first one was breath taking. Ocean - themed. colourful octopuses hanging from the ceiling
they loved the fluffy soft whales the most...it was sooo comfy to lie on them
even jun got into the action
there were knitted coral reefs to complete this serene underwater scene
and shoals of fish scurrying around. ran jun jun through the shoals and he was amused
this would make such a beautiful children's room
my three precious tykes
glad we came before the june hol crowds ruined the exhibits
we spent quite a lengthy time there
the star of the exhibit - mogus the multi tasking octopus
went to the craft room and there were periscopes. tong did an origami penguin and jie folded an angelfish.
this was most intriguing and mind-blowing. using helium and light, they had this charcoal coated ball which hovered like some ghostly orb...
the kids jad a wild time running and bouncing it around
eeh except the aftermath was smoky stained hands and faces ha
went to another room which had some interesting sculptures. a pity they were not interactive pieces
ah marriage of a phone and steamboat ha
ah.... shoals of fish escaping from
the jaws of the mighty shark
ARGHHHHHH it got my hand
pretty disturbing images about how men were harming the environment
this exhibit used the insignificant trash to convey the somber message of how much litter we threw away every single day
This was the puppet theatre but there was no show on that day. the cloth was billowing...rather serene and dreamy
interesting exhibits in the room
they spun the handles to make the animation move... I recalled having such toys in the past...
oh shark's fin!
rather disturbing images... not that it affected the kiddos in any bit
went bk to the first room, their first love
played on the piano while whiling the time away before ah gong came
bk at home, all snuggly to sleep
our little tim was growing up so quickly...he was all chirpy and playful nowadays
could not wait for the holidays to come and we would be painting the town red again!
