Funny hairstyles

So, after much persuasion, you agreed to tie your hair. The weather was blisteringly hot nowadays, coupled with the terrible haze, you tend to have rashes around your neck...so yeh...got to tie up the hair! (Xun at 41 months and Tong at 16 months in June 2013)

You liked two ponytails, you said you looked like Milly Measure from Team Umizoomi.

Photo taken in June 2013. You were getting a tad chubby. I always find it amusing that you ate very little and drank copious amounts of milk and somehow managed to put on weight and were very tall for your age. Well, hopefully you maintained this stature and you would be gangly and slender when you are a big girl.

One day, you came back from Waipo's house with two ponytail plaits! You fell in love with this look and wanted to tie your hair in this manner ever since.

You wanted to look like Kai Lan...

I commented to papa that you were not photogenic, like mama, we look better in person. papa would always be defensive and said you are absolutely beautiful...
Ok, and to the hilarious tong tong, who loved mama's hairband.

You had a predilection for feminine stuff, like mama's LV wallet and handbags...hmmm...and you got such a vain pot jie jie...papa and I wondered if you would grow up to be...ahem..."broken wristed".

See, I did not bluff you, this was taken on a different day,  you really loved my hairband..

Alright, love u both. Jie jie said she was not a little baby anymore and did not allow me to call her that. She loved to gush over you and always called you her little baby brother, her baby tong tong in that heavily accented cutsy voice. You know, she really adored you, she always wanted to play with you, sayang you, but you were a tad cantankerous and did not like her to touch you sometimes and would be whining and yelping away.

You know, both of you will always be mama's babies and sweethearts.

Shopping at IMM (our favourite outlet haunt) and the two of you were playing with the necklaces. Check out the funny hairstyle...looked like Chun Li (a Chinese girl in a popular childhood computer game of papa's generation)..

Even tong tong wanted a piece of the action..hahah...wai po had been nagging me to cut his hair for san yi's wedding...tong's first attempt at being the page boy...your wearing of the necklaces as hairbands gave mama the idea to do that too, what a pretty and functional accessory!
