(21 Jun) United Sq and Auntie CC's house

It was quite serendipitous...mama had to go to United Sq for a meeting with her employer (at that time Jun 2013, it was The Learning Lab) on my off day, so I brought you two to have ice cream while we talked. Was planning to bring you all to the Royce gym playground after the discussion but you saw the pirate ship set-up at the podium and beseeched to stay to watch the story telling session...we had a wonderful time, you were enthralled and terrified at the same time...ha...we had such fun. Then, we called ah Gong and he happened to be at his friend's shop at Thomson and he came to drive us home. Thank God for ah gong, he saved us many a times from the inconveniences of waiting for a cab and spending on cab fares...hahahaha...praise the Lord for ah gong...

you two fought over where to place to ice cream. Tong kept pulling it over to his side and you would pull it back.

You always chose the same flavour, white with pink swirls... I chose the other raspberry sorbet flavour...

See, tong liked it close to him coz he got shorter hands..hahaha...he climbed up onto the sofa seat on his own and insisted on sitting there instead of the wooden chair

Not fantastic service at this ice cream gallery...

United sq was such a children-friendly place with joyrides, speciality shops selling kids' stuff and enrichment centres...if only it was nearer to our house...

The two of you were wusses, you got frightened by the random songs the kiddy rides would sing

ok another joy ride...we need those with two seats...

Treasure Island!

Lotsa dancing...

You were scared of some of the characters like the ghost and the evil pirate. You were so worried that they would take mama's bag away. In the end, I asked you to sit on the bag so as to guard it. hahaha

After the play, you took some time to play at the sand pits, digging and burying treasures...

You wanted to take a photo with the crew but we had to spend $60 in order to get the pass and we did not manage to..oh well...we got a photo of you on the smaller stage...

the cast...

Yay, we bought matching shoes and tops! It was a good thing mama was petite so I could buy children's sizes at European and American brands...We bought these in Cotton On kids, heh...you loved their sparkly shoes... We visited another shop called Modern Mum which sold matching mums and babes' clothes. Their stuff were really pricey but exquisite, oh well...a dress would set me back by $130 and your dress would cost $70...nah...let us stick to Cotton on kids...hahaha...

So, the haze was execrable. The highest reading yesterday was like 390?! On Thursday, we usually went to Waipo's house to meet san yi, er yi and the rest. Today, Er Yi had to do OT and we decided to stay at home since it was so foggy. I cooked noodles, heated up the rice dumpling, we finished our dinner and I got a call from papa, asking if we were supposed to be at Aunt Choon Chi's house today! WA...we made a mad dash down and was there in 40 min. hahaha...

It was inexplicable. I took it down in my calendar, was thinking if I should buy a book for Xuanwei just earlier in the day...papa's phone happened to get spolit yesterday, thus he did not recall dinner was tonight...it was simply uncanny how I could have forgotten it...heh...oh well...we still had an amazing time there...mama ate another portion for dinner...ooo the soup was scrumptious...the three of you had such a merry time tog, how, I could not tell, for the age gap was so big. XW was in pri 1, you were 3ish and did was 1ish...but you had fun chasing and annoying each other...XW enjoyed your company too : )

Auntie Choon Chi bought really awesome toys and a pair of Croc ballet pumps for you! We had wanted to get a pair for you at the crocs sale but could not find your size...heh...it was a good thing that she bought a much bigger size which actually fitted you now! I love Auntie Choon Chi, she was the elder sister I always wish I had and never did.

Alas, I forgot to take photos...well, photos we took in USA then...

We had this photo in our living room. We gave them a photoframe when we left USA and it was now being displayed on their cabinet. We showed you to prove to you that you did know XW a long time ago.. : )

Yeh, they commented on your strong accent, ya yet again. I wonder if you would ever lose the accent, like how XW did. He came bk to Spore and started speaking like his peers in order to fit in. That day, daddy and I were talking about how we should see if Tong Tong would speak like you. If so, we would conclude it was coz daddy and I spoke in an accented manner to both of you and the two of you watched far too much Nick Junior. (the TV box was cranky and just turned itself and the TV on, gave me a fright!). If Tong did not speak with an accent, we would conclude your accent came from the 6 months' stay in USA. hahaha...

On another note, that day, daddy and I were discussing that the two of you conspired to take turns to be naughty...at that exact moment, Tong Tong laughed. He had comic timing, just like you do! ahhaha...

ha, you were the talkative one now, you were talking incessantly all the time...it seemed like I was addressing you in the blogs most of the time...well, we would wait till Tong could talk..then I could write blogs addressing him too...

Tong, you are growing up so beautifully : ) you know how to listen to instructions, mama is VERY proud of you...Mama loves it that you love to be independent and eat on your own...you have very strong opinions just like your jie jie. You see that she keeps her shoes in the shoe cabinet and insist to do it too. One night, papa brought the two of you home and did not understand what you wanted. You exploded into a huge teary tantrum when he closed the door. You are a tad whiny and temperamental and ever so loud in getting your way, always demanding attention, laugh. hugz, mama loves you to bits.

ok, got to zzz. love much. God keeps our family in divine health and protection all the time. Amen.
