Talking about friends, recently our Norwegian friends congratulated us on the third baby and sent us a photo of Emma, Anna and Erlend. They had grown so big...Anna was like xun's age when we were in USA? Ha...Xun was a tiny baby like Erlend...but you all were your own persons now...haha
We would have to shelf the plans to go to Norway...maybe when didi baby was 3 years old or something
the super excited girls waiting for the last guest, Minxuan, to arrive. Ming Ming, Izabelle and Xun were already decked in glamorous princesses' dresses. They all brought a bag of snacks, so we had an abundance of snacks. YUM YUM YUM
I thought the girls all looked alike with their small pointy faces and small eyes...eh...though xun had a rounder face. ha Izabelle stated that she was chubby. I asked how she felt about the comment and xun giggled and thought it was cute. ha...well...so long she did not feel like her friend was putting her down, ha...she did look so charming and cherubic with all those rotund red cheeks :)

Well, tong declared that he absolutely loved the playdate when we talked about it at the end of the day. Well, I hoped he would not be a playboy when he grew up...
Lunch time, all of us went to the prawn noodles stall for some scrumptious local fare. papa and mama loved local fare, we were simple folks who were content with cheap hawker food, never really delighting in fanciful cafes or restaurants' food. I wondered if there would still be hawker centres in 20 years' time?

next stop: The pool. was a tad blistering hot...but who minded the least bit when you were in the company of friends?
and they frolicked there like for almost TWO hours while mama chatted with Minxuan's mama...hahaha
mama cajoled and threatened with withholding the wang wang crackers from anyone who did not line up along the edge for me to take a good group shot. Ah, bribery always worked. Ya and each of you ate like 3 packets of crackers...my, were you that starving?
Khloee and Kovan came to join us too. Khloee came to play for a while after lunch but her mama disallowed her to come to the pool. Well, I supposed she must have gone home to plead really hard, or maybe coz Kovan gor gor relented and agreed to bring her...ha...you all had a whale of a time, Kovan kor kor was a really good playmate, he took such care of the little ones.
Washed up...and more costume parades...yeh...so we played from 10 plus till 4 plus...mama was dead beat...eh...the girls could not bear to leave...Ming Ming asked if I could invite her over again...haha
well, of course, we would right? Coz...it was always more fun to play dress up with a bunch of girly friends.
yeh, we finally did up the birthday calendar again. Upcoming next, San yi-zhang's birthday!
