June Hols 2024 - The fun started!

We kickstarted the hols with a stayover at Aunt Karen's recently renovated home in Jurong West. Here, the two punky girls. Mei said her favourite part of the stayover was being with Gayle.

Having fun outdoor time

Biaogu prepared so many cups of instant noodles

and gosh...candy and chocolates galore

Ermmmm scrumptious snacks

This photo was sent to the group chat and someone commented that they looked like they were worshipping the cactus...

Dinner at the coffee shop. The biaogus were full of praises for Xun as she took care of the young ones and bought noodles and drinks for them all by herself. She did it at so efficiently that they were all tucking into the delicious (according to Mei) noodles when Aunt Karen was just making her way back with her food.

Aunt Val and Aunt Lindy said that Mei was so brave - her very first stayover at 5 years old! ...and that she told Aunt Lindy that she loved T Maeve ...and Aunt Val said Mei spoke so eloquently and confidently

They stayed up till the wee hours...Tong said either Mei or JJ fell asleep first...at THREE AM! Tong and Jayron played throughout the night and only took a nap from 6am to 9am...

The night owls...

What could be better than Mac breakfast with cousins?

More outdoor time...scorching though...They had a blast. Kaysen felt the stayover was too short...it was rather hard to coordinate all the kids' schedules...hopefully, there would be more sleepovers in future!

A Friday night...Papa and Mama went to hang out with their friends and Er Yi drove the kids home. YAY... we had finally reached the stage where we could leave the kids alone at home and go out to have our own lives...

LOL they had a whale of time with Youyou and Yanjie at the automatic car wash...

Picture taken by Jun...Mei was not feeling well that day. She took medicine and fell asleep on the floor. I did not even know how to add words to a photo! How did these young ones know all these nifty tricks?

My salon therapists gave me some cute earrings and accessories...ah the vain pot
Ah, this wand actually was equipped with lights and sounds...way better than the silly useless one from Haidilao

Clip earrings..wonder when she would be getting her ears pierced

The Sat before we flew off to Vietnam with Er Yi and the rest...ah.. Papa went to soccer so he could not pick Mama up from work, and Mama also wanted to finish the marking before heading to Vietnam, so I went home by myself. When Mama saw the boys, I immediately noticed that they were wearing matching tees!

Well, apparently no one realised that for the entire day! Ha...the boys had not worn matching tees for a LONG time...what were the chances of this happening? GOSH.

Mama saw this adorable keychain at Minoso, Hillion Mall. Ha, a capybara (Tong) on a goose (Jie). We saw one of a turtle (Jun) on a capybara before. Erm...it would be ideal if we could have the turtle on the capybara and then both on the goose. Erm...what animal would represent Mei? Perhaps a cute little bird that looked like Tweety Bird? Well...Papa and Mama always teased Mei for being pretty and useless and thus pretty useless, as what the last-borns were often known for...She was always claiming that she could not do things on her own, thus needing Papa to carry her when she was already 5 ...not being able to brush her teeth in the morning as she was tooooo tired and in a stupor to do anything...AH... that silly girl...

Well. June hols had just started!
