Well, it had been some time since mama last blogged...it had been a hectic month of Oct, san yi got married, er yi gave birth to a cute little baby boy, we fell sick with flu (coming to almost 2 weeks and we were still sniffing and coughing a little), occupied with attending baby showers, visiting libraries, just chilling out at home...it had been a very tiring month...well, the silver lining was that we got so groggy from the medicine that we often napped for a long time in the afternoons and would sleep at midnight and wake up only at 1030 the next day...ahhahah sleepy babies and mama...
So, xun had just wanted to stay at home the past week, you would whimper, "I don't feel very well" with those tear-dropped shaped doe eyes...ON Mon, you woke up bright and chirpy and asked where we were heading! I took it that it was a sign you had somewhat recovered from the bout of illness...
I had always wanted to bring you to catch a musical titled "Playtime" at Esplanade. A call to the ticket office showed that tickets were still available, here we went.
Best siblings forever! You wanted sparkly shoes as you were wearing a pretty skirt...a design that mama was wearing too!
We took a long bus ride and walked through Esplanade Exchange and chanced upon this interactive screen play. You could follow the genie's instructions and played music on the keys...
Caught on video!
You wanted a photo with the genie!
Tong copied you but he was a little short. ha.
I told you we were going to a party as you might be scared if I told you we were watching a play, you disliked dark places...both of you were clamoring to go to the party...
Seated on the floor, eagerly waiting
Played hide and seek behind the enormous blocks...they had the usual slap-stick comedy of pretending not to be able to see their friends when they were just hiding behind them...but you know, kids adored this kind of humour...hahaha
Gigantic slinkies! looked like soda cans...haha...
They would wriggle and pop in and out...
And Adam would be doing the opposite from the others and you would chuckle...in fact, there was one scene when you chortled soooo uproariously that the other parents turned to look at you with a bemused look...
They asked you kids to dance along...
Ribbon dance to a soothing tune...
A billowing cloth that changed colours and teaching the word "float"
As the finale, they let out loads of balls and the children went wild with joy...
Posing with the life-sizd blocks...
Playing with the adorable mask...
Having a break while we waited for Ah Gong to come and fetch us...
Not forgetting some shots of mama and xun in matching pink gear and white fluffy skirts...
We had a good nap and woke up to have some special time. So we used the timer and took some photographs...
You enjoyed yourself immensely and wished papa could have joined us. You were a sweetheart, you always talked about papa when we went on outings. For the next installment, it would be Hello Ling and we would go together on a weekend!
