(9 Feb 14 Sat) Catching play "Hello Ling" at Esplanade

Having thoroughly enjoyed "Hello Adam" the other time, we decided to go for "Hello Ling" too! It was in mandarin and papa joined us this time.

We were a little late, the show had started when we rushed in. That did not dampen your spirits a bit. The show talked about how sunlight was needed to help plants grow...

And water too...I liked how they added strings of beads to the umbrella so it made a nice noise when they twirled the umbrellas.

The blossoming of the sunflowers...orr..how coincidental that they should like sunflowers too, like our little xun xun. Too bad ours died.

They talked about seeing the rainbow after the rain. You asked me why we had not seen any rainbow before...ha i replied that they were rather rare and we would keep looking out for them...

ooo shadow play. They gave out a sheet which taught you how to make the spider, rooster, butterfly and bird. The rooster and spider were really cute. The two of you could really identify with the show as we grew plants and played shadows in the dark too.

The light in the torchlight went out and they exclaimed that they needed to find another source. They ran over to our side and you said, "oh candles!" really loudly. Ha these glimmering things were supposed to be fireflies. After telling you that...you had a quizzical look and said but they were candles...

Beautiful graphic of fireflies flying into the night sky..they went onto the screen then onto the ceiling!

The adorable critters made shapes...

Having a blast of a time with papa...

Dancing, jiving, singing to the rhythm

End of show..phototaking with the props...

JJ was there with his parents too : )

It was awesome now that the three of you actually played together when we met at Marzuki...

oooo the aerial display at Esplanade had changed. You shouted in delight and declared it was stunning. I loved these aerial displays too.

A good trip. We loved plays.

On a separate day...you and the new fluffy bear. The night before, you left the stripy dress bear at Wai po's. You sobbed and papa gave you this bear and comforted you. ha...you asked me how many bears you had...you knew there was more than one all the time...there was the stripy dress bear, purple dress bear, this new fluffy bear, you got one really old first one, and we lost the red dress bear at Lot 1. You asked about the red dress bear and I said her dress was lost when mama washed it...

You loved my flowy dress and wanted to take a photo of me...

we just went to uncle daryl's house and the two of you totally charmed the socks off him and his wife. his house was gorgeous...ermm i forgot to take photos though i brought the camera! posing outside at the lift lobby, we met er yi n san yi at san yi's house this morning for a cny gathering and both were smitten with your lovely butterfly dress.

up to no good, you and your silly faces...tong was as usual...looking sharp.

I was lamenting to papa that tong was at such a delightful age now and how I missed out your 2 year-old stage as I was so busy looking after him. I expected you to grow up and be a jie jie and helped me with things when he came along. I did not have time to cuddle and smell you, I did not have the luxury to talk extensively with only you...tong could still breastfeed and demand a lot of attention from me now...but I did not manage to give you that and those years just flew by...

papa said he was there with you and you two had a smashing time. hugz. yesterday night, you asked me why I was not using my hp before I went to sleep. I told you i liked to do it coz surfing relaxed me. But i put down my phone and told you that you were more important than the handphone, I loved you more than I loved the handphone. You allowed me to hug and snuggle with you to sleep last night and this morning too. I made up poems about why I loved you, like how I loved your sweet fragrance and body warmth, your twinkly eyes and funny faces, your lithe laughter...and all...I thought you must have loved the ditsy poems...

Love the two of you. TIme to head out for dinner without papa.
