(May 14) Haircut for the little kids

Wai po liked tong tong to shave his head and spot a crew cut. Mama thought tong looked good with short hair indeed. After playing at the water play at Westgate, we went to the 10 dollars hairdressing salon just nearby for our haircut!

We had visited this joint before and had an enjoyable time. There were joyride seats for the little ones, the shop was nicely furnished, you got free joy rides and candies after the cut...this time round, xun decided that she would cut her hair too!

Her very virgin haircut by a hairdresser.

Hair all pinned up...oooo good bye long locks...

After the cut, you said you had a good time, you did not know it was not scary after all. Mama was glad it was a great experience.

Tong and his cars tee and cars shades.

Picture of the two of you in matching bear tees and spotting the new haircuts.

Amazingly, mama got a haircut at the same salon too. THe two of you occupied the time by running about, going up and down the joyrides and taking turns to be the hairdresser and the customer. It was kinda cute to see the two of you playing pretend, using hands to act as scissors and giggling away when it was time to switch role.

Well, i would say the hair dresser was pretty good, the new hairdos were not too bad. Well, we only spent $30, compared to almost $50 for one haircut mama used to spend at another hairdresser...it was really value for money.

the very good looking tong with his planes. We bought all these planes from USA and reenacted the Dusty story with Dusty falling into the choppy waters and then winning Chickasha...haha..

Playing on joyrides was one of the highlights whenever we visited any shopping mall. It was a good thing both of you did not like the moving one and was thrilled with the stationary one. Imagine the amount of money that would have otherwise been used on joyrides. ha...

Recently, xun was able to go to sleep without mama. well, i must say jie jie was really growing up. She tried to go without diapers at night but it was unsuccessful and now she was back to diapers again. I suppose...we would just wait till she was ready...jie jie was always such an angel, she was usually very understanding and sensitve and she remembered all that mama told her...

tong tong was the cheeky one. Tong would tease people...like one night, mama asked, tong tong, "who is the beautiful ah ma...". He would chime, "ah ma..." "Who is the beautiful jie jie?' "Jie jie"...and so on for everyone, but for xiaoshu, he would say, "nobody", much to everyone's amusement. The cheeky little bom bom.

Love you both to bits...
