Ever since xun turned 1 plus, mummy had been finding matching clothes to wear with her darling angel. As of now, Xun was already 4plus, looking through my handphone for the photos, I saw how Xun had blossomed from that cherubic angel into the lanky sassy lass today...it brought tears to my eyes. You would always be my angelic sweetheart, Xun, the most understanding and forgiving girl in the world...
Xun and mama at mama's 30th party. Had always wanted a Mac party when I was young and never got it as I was so poor. Ate my first burger when I was 12...unlike the two of you who gorged on Mac like routine business. Mac was a rare, extremely extravagant treat for mama and her sisters.
Xun at her 2nd birthday. Hmmm Too bad I could not find a pic of us wearing this matching purple dress. Bought this from a maternity shop at united sq, at half price, they still came up to 100 plus. But they were delightful and a regal purple, brought many compliments. ha...
At Disney show...We were wearing Juicy Couture velvety jackets...talked about high couture eh...xun tottering in juicy couture at 2 ish?
Mum started buying all those tees from Cotton on Kids. I could wear size 8...eh...but approaching 33 years old, mum decided I did not like clingy body hugging stuff very much now...i supposed it came with being older...and a less than petite body...hahah...
Another tee...we looked cute, don't we?
Oh papa and tong in chelsea jerseys.. still in Maysprings, tong did not have any opinion on clothes, unlike now, he only insisted on wearing stuff with thomas...he must be less than 1 yr old when we took this photo.. ha..
Went to gardens by the bay, organized by SLA...seemed like such a long time ago...wearing those big dark glasses...
looked like houseflies' eyes?
OH, this was a time mama was still shedding those pregnancy weight...oooo...us in matching FOX fairy skirts...got them cheap from some FOX bazaar...
Oh the boys in their jerseys again...we passed all these to you you...he would have matching wear with his daddy too!
Tong's 1st birthday, celebration at Linear, our first ever celebration. All in polo ralph stuff. SO ATAS. well we got them cheaply from united states, our shopping haven.
oh had to add this, coz somehow mama was very skinny at this point. Thought it must be the time I just started teaching at the Learning Lab in early 2013..the constant standing helped me shed the fats...
Ah ma got these from her china trip...eh...the ever obliging mum agreed to this photo and even let daddy post it on FB.
mama had this white dress from FOX too, yup, kids size again, it really benefited me to be of small build. Eh...maybe you would be tall and lanky, seeing how tall you were compared to your peers. maybe not, it could be just the early years. oh well, I sure hoped you had fun dressing up with your little girl in future...
CNY 2014. I bought you this butterfly dress, while I had a flowy long butterfly dress too. You were a fashionista, you loved all my flowy, glittering, pretty prints stuff...You would squeal in delight and compliment me, to which I would remark I would save all these dresses for you...haha...
CNY 2014. well...i thought it was over the top to do this...some girlfriends laughed at mama for thinking of this matching wear as it was too frilly and girly for an adult. eh. they seriously made me doubt my taste... : ( good thing papa encouraged me and said it was alright when we wore them together...besides...the vindictive mama thought the girfriends could not even fit into kids' sizes even if they wanted...evil laughter...
Matching checked shirts for tong and papa...
they even wore white pants together, papa said it was alright coz he was doing it with tong. ALone, he would never wear white pants, too dandy for him.
Australia trip, March 2014. We bought these funny tees that said only papa earned money while the rest of us spent money. Mama bought matching family tees for the entire LU family for the Perth trip.
Like these for wai po, wai gong and xiaoyi. Eh...but the one mama got for san yi was too tight for her. ha...oppsy. coincidentally, san yi also bought family for us and er yi for christmas! Talked about great minds thinking alike.
but papa's fb friends commented we just escaped from prison...ARGHHHH
Oh we had this similar tee...ha but i discarded all of these cotton on tees...coz...eh...not too flattering on me...and of course tong in the navy uniform, which was somewhat like papa's airforce uniform.
Took this in USA trip May 2014. Matching jackets...could not seem to find my pic...
Early 2014 - I posted on FB we were gonna wear these to visit the Queen someday. Ha...after washing, they had turned pink as they were dyed by my silly red shorts whose colour ran!
Matching gap bear print tees from USA. I picked it for Tong and you said you liked the print and wanted to find the ger's version...
Bought these from taobao..haha...oh...there was actually one for the male too...papa thought it might be cool but decided otherwise... hahaha
papa and his dapper looking tong...matching polo ralph tee. their favourite brand for getting matching tees. papa liked the slimming cut.
This was such an enjoyable post. I loved the two of you to bits even though you drove me crazy on some days...made me want to go back to FULL TIME WORK. ha...I thank God for blessing me with two bundles of joy...my two little darling sweethearts.
World Cup 2014. Ha, papa predicted that Brazil and Germany would be the strongest contenders but Brazil did not fare that too well...it was dampening considering that the match was played on its home ground! We also bought a matching Germany set...since Germany won this year's world cup, mama asked papa to take a photo soon.
ah gong and ah ma in matching white tees. There had been times when ah ma or ah gong would be wearing matching wear with tong tong as they had yellow and orange tees, which tong tong liked. ha
Ha check out the cute little skirts. They come with tops with depicted the top of the ladies...but the top was too big for xun and mine was a tad tight. alas.
Blue clothes for the boys...papa loved to match his clothes with tong tong. Good thing boys' and men's shirts were blue...and blue...and more blue...rather easy to match..
haha...the cutest pic of all. ah gong and tong lounging in ah ma's room. Xun, you asked me if there was air con in heaven all the time...hahah I said, "Yes." You were intrigued about heaven...coz there were days when you could not get to sleep and wished you could play all day long and I replied that you would do so in heaven...then you asked if you needed to die before you go to heaven...ha...such transcendental questions..i said you would have a brand new body, it would be even more awesome...some days, you chirped you wished you could go back to heaven soon...ha...
my darling xun...your eternal home is in heaven..in the meantime on Earth, shine and sparkle, sweetheart...be a great testimony.
Sep 2014 - Updates to more matching wear
flown all the way from Taiwan, a gift from Lan shu shu and Min yi yi.
To a birthday party at Hort Park, though our prints were not exactly the same, one of papa's friends noticed that the style and colour were the same. If only I could find such a whimsical one like xun's!
polo ralph tees...papa had one too...now we only needed to find a stripy purple one for tong...
To Wai gong's birthday lunch at Tung lok, papa tried to dress like tong, light blue shirt and berms...
while xun and mama were waxing lyrical on the fun and thrill of wearing matching clothes...ha
oooo matching apple print dresses
finally, tong and mama had an exclusive son-and-ma bright neon green set....really dazzling, that colour...
