So...mama asked Auntie Michelle from Awesome Memories to do a family photoshoot for us. ha...it was quite a blistering day...but we took the photos at a shaded leafy spot first in our pretty clothes, then when the sun had gone down a tiny tad and it was more pleasant, we took beach shots in our casual clothes.
In all, she gave us 36 edited photos. alas, our DVD reader was spoiled, so I could only retrieve these photos from Aunt Michelle's FB page... oh well oh well...
Mama liked this cuddly photo...you two were such snuggly babies and kissing fishes, always asking to get all the huggy and smoochy shots.
Happy family
Sibling - the most wonderful gift from heaven
I wished you would be so united and close for the rest of your lives. Ha, today, xun took some markers out from tong's set, she chose all the girly colours. mama did not know that and reminded tong that he had to put them back if not he would lose them. Tong went to his jie and prattled on about how jie got to keep stuff safely and be a good girl. ha.
The laughing buddha. tong was certainly one cutie pie, jie jie always gushed about what a cutie pie he was. and he had grown up to be a really understanding and sensitive boy.
These few days, it could be the fatigue from all the celebration, or insecurity of starting school (uncle brian said tong mentioned he was scared about starting school), tong had been whiny and temperamental again. Well, he was easier to calm down and papa had been more patient and gentler when he was swept up in his maelstrom of emotions...hopefully the phase would pass soon like a summer rain...
One of jie's favourite photos. She delighted in chilling by the lake with her beautiful Elsa balloon.
Oh, one of our favourite shots.
And this, we certainly immortalised the rickshaw ah gong made by using it as a prop in the photoshoot. Xun was bawling before this shot as she was exhausted at having to run around for aunt michelle to get some running shots, and she did not find it that fun having to listen to instructions and doing different actions and stuff...good thing we could not see her red and teary eyes here...yeh, she forgot her bear and brought the cheeky looking frog instead. I thought she identified with the frog as there was an impish streak in her.
Ah, the beach shots. The kids were way more enthusiastic for this segment. Thought this was rather nice, except my bangs looked rather...kooky...
And pretending to be having a picnic...brought lots of balloons and props...eh...but ended up they dun feature very importantly.
jie singing "let it go" as she ambled on the warm sand
I liked how she always had this Cheshire Cat grin when papa kissed her. Utterly blissful look.
And yes, she wanted this photo because she liked the kissing shots.
Ah...finally the balloons came into the pictures
We thought this was hilarious and provided such comic relief as tong tong ran off with his classic flapping wings when we were flying "Eagle and Mother hen".
Well, did you not feel you were on top of the world when you sat on papa's shoulders?
My personal favourite photo, tong was all hunky dory. Eh...not too sure where he got that 6 pack from, eh...I did not seem to see it on other days, more of one big rotund ball, perhaps he was starving after the long shoot...we had wrapped up the shoot but the diligent aunt michelle followed us to the bathing area and caught this. ooooo...
and papa's favourite, I thought. We were just playing and mama came up with this AHA moment of having papa fling jie into the air. Well...I must say jie really had the poise of a ballerina.
Ok, got to update the photos, maybe at ah ma's house some other time.
