Our little Jun was growing up so beautifully. Always wide-eyed with curiosity, he loved exploring the playgrounds
There was a lovely playground just opposite ah ma's house
He especially loved steering wheels and anything that spun
BBQ party at Linear on Sat. The older kids were back earlier for a swim while waiting for the cousins to arrive
Sumptuous spread
God uncle took a photo of the 21-year old Xiaoyi...yup, this was the fashionable gear at that time
It was a great gathering...mama got party gifts - a McQueen water bottle / a Barbie water bottle and a pokemon projection watch. It was a pity that the watches came on the actual day at 9 plus when most of the guests had left. Oh well, the cousins and xun, tong did get to play with the watches and had a blast casting pokemons on the walls and floor and pretending to have pokemon fights
2nd celebration at Solei's clubhouse. There was a craft corner where children played with clay...they had a blast tinkering with the clay and made all kinds of figurines...checked out our jie who made a pair of headphones!
It was a lovely spot, balmy, sheltered, with an alfresco area where papa cooked some party food using the hotplate, the buffet from Ronnie kitchen was scrumptious, there was an air-conditioned area for people to seek solace from the heat...
On Thursday itself, we went to Swensens to have dinner as AIA gave us the birthday voucher. mama photographed Jun's birth Cert so that we could claim the firehouse sundae treat! Looked at how enthralled Jun was with the candle.
Lele's drew this picture for Jun as it was his birthday. The vehicle had Lele, Xun, Tong and Jun in it. Ha...so sweet. Aunt Grace said that Lele really loved tong tong...orrrr what a precious friendship.
oh, for the picking of items ceremony, Jun chose 1) PEN, 2) calculator, 3) book. Hmmm so he would probably be some civil servant, or some researcher, scientist, author, philosopher...ha, something in the literary scene? Oh...just like mama...maybe he would be a teacher...ahhh
Well, three wonderful days of celebration...Blessed birthday, our darling Jun. We could not believe that you had been with us for one entire year. It felt like we just saw you in the hospital not too long ago, it also felt like we had been with you forever...thank you for making our lives so colourful, thank you for bringing such joy to us.
